The food was good. Could have been better. I ordered the Grilled Salmon with Seaonal Vegetables, my friend ordered the Fried Fish w/ Steak Fries and we shared a Lobster Ravioli w/Steak tips. The steak was had an boiled (overcrowded pan) cook to it that made some of the piece too well done and chewy. The Salmon was slightly over cook and dry and some steam vegetables were either over cook or undercook like old n new were toss into the same pot Mind you we did order 10 minutes before the kitchen closed so that might have played into the rush n poor redults but Lobster Ravioli n cream sauce was REALLY good! There was a live bad playing good music and a small crowd of friendly people, mostly over 50 were extremely nice with welcoming smiles and hello and we weave past them to wait and get our order. So minus the minor hiccup of not knowing the time the kitchen closed, it was really nice experience. I would go back...earlier in the evening of course so not to inconvenience the kitchen staff...and get more photos.

We chose this restaurant to celebrate a birthday with a group of 9, but unfortunately, the experience was disappointing—especially when it came to the food. Most of the dishes tasted like they had been cooked earlier in the day (or even the day before) and reheated in a microwave before being served. My steak, which I ordered medium well, arrived medium rare. Others in our group who asked for medium rare received steaks that were practically rare, with some parts noticeably undercooked. While the server was friendly and engaging, she didn’t offer any apology for the food quality. Instead, she simply said, “I’m not the one who cooked it.” As someone who has worked in the service industry, I understand that it’s not the server’s fault—but a bit of empathy and accountability would have gone a long way. Overall, the food was subpar and not what you’d expect for a special occasion. We won’t be coming back.

Thank GOODNESS for the Bartender here. This gentleman takes in food orders by phone WHILE serving the patrons at the bar. I am editing my review because it looks like the waitstaff has changed and the service has gone down a bit. BEWARE of the waitress; oblivious to ppl who are not "eating in" AND has no clue as to orders being called in. She will watch you, but won't acknowledge your existence. Either way, Great location in Brighton Center. Great food with great portions and the drinks were refreshing. Great quality Pub to stop in and eat, drink & be merry. The bartender WILL take care of you*

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. RUINED CELEBRATION DINNER WITH A FRIEND. USELESS WAITER. AWFUL TASTELESS BADLY COOKED FOOD. NOT ONE POSITIVE THING TO SAY. CHICKEN MARSALE PRE COOKED AND MICROWAVED. PENNE PASTA SOAKED AND BROWN. INSTEAD OF MARSALA WINE AND FRESH MUSHROOMS COOKED IN CANNED MUSHROOM GRAVY. VERY EXPENSIVE STEAK VERY OVERDONE AND RUBBERY. COULD’t CUT IT EVEN WITH A STEAK KNIFE. TO MAKE THE MEAL EVEN MORE HORRIBLE, STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE SERVED ON A FLAT PLATE, NOT IN A BOWL. INSTEAD OF SHORTCAKE THE TINY PIECE OF POUND CAKE WAS MICROWAVED AND BURNED, LIKE A BRICK HARD. A TABLESPOON OF STRAWBERRIES WITHOUT SAUCE AND TWO TINY SCOOPS OF ICE CREAM NEXT TO THE CAKE. COULD EVEN CUT THIS CAKE WITH A KNIFE. NEEDLESS TO SAY WE WON’T BE BACK. PITIFUL EXCUSE FOR...
