Who knew that you could enjoy near-upscale dining at an airport? Yes, this place is that good. Many have tried to go for the upscale dining experience at many an airport and have failed. So, it was with some skepticism that I decided to try Davio’s at Boston’s Logan Airport after a flight delay. I mean, sure the waitstaff is smartly attired and the decor is nicer than you’d expect from a restaurant at an airport, but it is still just another airport restaurant, right? Wrong! First off, I was greeted very warmly by the young bartender, Brian (I opted to dine at the bar). I ordered my favorite cocktail - an Old Fashioned with Bulleit Bourbon - and waited with some skepticism for an underwhelming interpretation of the classic American cocktail (most places fall short - airport or not). To my surprise, it was excellent! And stiff to boot! Definitely wasn’t expecting that. All the requisite ingredients/flavors were represented in their proper proportions. Nothing overpowering or underwhelming. Big thumbs up! Next, I had the chicken sausage in port wine. Man, was this thing delicious! It was obvious that the sausage was of premium quality, and the port wine provided that ever-so delicious hint of sweetness. I loved it! Don’t make the mistake that I nearly did by passing up Davio’s as just another airport ripoff restaurant. It’s a much-appreciated, refined respite in the middle of a hectic travel hub. So, take the time (if you have it between flights) to treat yourself. You won’t be disappointed.

My husband made reservations by chance, we were dropping friends off at the airport and nothing was accepting reservations. We were so happy to stumble on this gem. To see the wait staff in whites is so prestine! For just a few more dollars than what we'd typically pay per plate it was so worth it. We started with the lemon ricotta cacao e pepe pasta as an appetizer, wagyu carpaccio , lobster bisque and the spring roll sampler. The lobster bisque was tasty but we were led to believe more crostinis would accompany it, very rich. The pasta was absolutely fantastic I was disappointed I didn't get it as my meal! But I love the option to get the pastas as an app . The spring rolls were each so delicious. Wagyu melted in our mouths! The smoked chicken pasta entree has such a depth a flavors. Then the dessert cart. Just so eye appealing how do you say no! I was a bit disappointed in my baked Alaska but it was rushed so could be it, I expected the gelato to be a bit easier to eat. Everything else was tasty. It was a the little touches, the sugar cubes with espresso! Even just the nice set up of the bar extras instead of the plastic containers. The coconut macaroon is the best macaroon I have tasted, the Vanilla bean addition is something so simple but adds so much. Thank you for an unexpected amazing baby free evening.

I had dinner at Davio’s in Terminal C at Logan Airport, located just to the right past security, and it was truly an exceptional experience. For an airport restaurant, the level of comfort and quality was outstanding – they even have a chef’s table where I was able to sit and watch the kitchen team prepare the food, which made the experience feel special. I ordered the salmon entrée, and it was excellent – fine dining quality in a casual traveler setting. The highlight of the evening, though, was the VIP-level service I received. My server, Brian, went above and beyond by recommending a handcrafted cocktail (not even on the menu!) tailored to my personal tastes, using a creative combination of alcohol and fresh ingredients straight from the kitchen. The manager, Benjamin, was equally attentive, checking in to ensure I was completely satisfied with both my drink and entrée. Their combined efforts far exceeded my expectations, making this one of the best airport dining experiences I’ve ever had. I can’t recommend Davio’s enough – whether you have time to spare before a flight or just want a truly elevated meal at the airport, this is the place to go. Kudos to Brian and Benjamin for making it memorable!

Food was good service was horrendous. Me and my family of three asked for our orders to go as we did not know when our flight was leaving due to multiple delays for about 6hours. The manager insisted we sit down after a long day. We sat down and when we ordered our food we asked to pay the bill at the same time due to the uncertainty of our flight time. The price was $85 before we used our meal vouchers that we got from JetBlue due to our flight delay. The remaining total after the meal vouchers was around $13. The server explained that the $13 was after the price and left the card machine for gratuity. We rounded the bill to $20 and payed that with card we then added and additional $15 under the card machine. As we started eating our meal we overheard the staff and managers talking poorly about customers saying they don’t tip and how that’s not acceptable. The manager then came over and “ I want you to understand that the bill was $85 and that the tip we gave on the card machine wasn’t even 20%.”My mom quickly explained how we left an additional gratuity in cash under the card reader machine and if they would have looked before jumping to conclusions there would be no issues. The manager then explained how the staff wasn’t talking about our table but another table . However, she still came over to our table to complain about the digital gratuity. She apologized and said how it was unacceptable and offered to give us a dessert to remedy the problem. We politely declined and asked for to go boxes as we did in the beginning before dining and before we ordered we asked the server to please put them in to go’s just in case we had to leave early for our flight. Overall decent food terrible service definitely will not be going here again. Also quite rude to beg for a tip even though we ended up tipping more than 20% ( $7 digital & $15 in cash) HIGHLY...
