This location deserves some serious credit. Before you read negative reviews below or above mine, understand one thing. It was most likely written by someone who was probably late for something, someone with a bad attitude in general or simply someone who felt like doing this will make their own situation in life better by tarnishing what this location works hard for day in and day out. I work in the building right by Ruggles station and so I have the luxury of being able to stop at this location daily. YES, the location is tiny and only accessible by window. YES, it is located in THE CITY at a TRAIN STATION, so YES you will deal with things like bums hanging around looking for free food or asking you for money while you are in line waiting...which has nothing to do with DD or the people that work at this location. YES, it is a VERY busy spot because there are buses and trains constantly dropping people off (obviously), people park in the public garage attached as well and mind you, Northeastern students are always in and out of here as well. So I would like to say this..... understand that the people who work at this location, including the manager for Gods sake, work very hard to kill the line and bang out orders as correctly and efficiently as possible. I have YET to get an order that was incorrect. I have YET to stand in the line longer than 5 minutes. Every employee who works the window or preps the food is very nice and they get the job done. I must admit, I have a preference for the morning crew, as they are always super friendly, quick and just with it all around. Not only that, but they wake you up with positive greetings and help you start your day in the only way they can. CUT THEM SOME SLACK! And give them credit where it is due! This location is exactly what I would expect from a city train stop location and yet they make every experience as personable as possible for you. Obviously because I go there everyday, they got to know me a little more than the average commuter, but even before they realized I was a frequent flyer there I was still treated well and never had an issue with my orders. People need to humble themselves and wake up. There is nothing wrong with this...
Read moreDear Dunkin’ Donuts Customer Service,
I’m writing to express my frustration with a recurring issue at your Ruggles station 1131 Tremont st Boston store. Over the past several weeks, I’ve consistently found the store closing 2 to 3 hours before the posted hours of operation. Each time, I’m told that the oven “isn’t working,” but it’s obvious that the equipment is functional—lights are on, machines are running, and staff are in the process of shutting everything down early.
This pattern suggests that the store is choosing to close early for convenience rather than due to legitimate equipment issues. As a loyal customer, I find this practice both misleading and disappointing. It undermines the reliability and trust I’ve come to expect from the Dunkin’ brand.
I ask that you look into this matter and hold the location accountable to ensure they honor their posted hours or communicate transparently if legitimate closures are necessary. I’d appreciate a follow-up on what actions are being taken to address this.
Thank you for your attention...
Read moreIm not even sure why this dunkin is still open. Theres about 8 of yall back there and no one taking orders but they are all sitting there having conversations about person things. There was 3 people in line including me. I didnt even get the chance to order cus i was standing there for about 10 min and no one offered to take my order. Its actually quite rediculus because i myself used to work at dunkin for 2 years and id never just look at a customer multiple times and continue my conversation like the customer isnt there. The manager seriously needs to do something because its actually unacceptable. And its sad because its always the people of color giving they own people a bad image. Id rather take my business to the whites because at least they will serve me with respect. This dunkin should be closed because the people there suck and dont have any concept of...
