I was at the MFA today and UHOP is across the street. My daughter loves pizza so we went there. We walked in and sat down to read the menu and decide on food instead of standing at the counter being indecisive.

When I went to the counter to order, a lady who I believe to be the owner was putting change in the cash register. She made eye contact with me, smiled, greeted me, then walked away. The young lady who was initially at the register walked from the back to the front with a pizza she was making. She worked on it a few seconds then came and asked me what I wanted to order. I ordered: a chicken quesadilla, spicy curly fries, a small pepperoni pizza, and two drinks.

When the chicken quesadilla came, it was a buffalo chicken quesadilla and saturated with hot sauce. There is no indication of this on their menu. There are other items that are clearly marked and state, "buffalo chicken." There is no distinction, however, for the chicken quesadilla.

I took the plate back to the counter and explained that I was not expecting buffalo sauce on the quesadilla and the two young ladies responded by saying that's how they make them. I stated that there is no indication that it would be a buffalo chicken quesadilla. One told me it's not--it's a chicken quesadilla with buffalo hot sauce on it. When I responded that there is no way of knowing that, the young lady who took my order told me in a very sharp and condescending tone, I should have asked. Instead of the situation escalating into a confrontation, I told her to give me my money back for the item. She gave it back to me by smacking it down on the counter with a scowl on her face. I took it and packed my things and left. Needless to say, we will never go back and they won't get another cent from me. Very poor...

Coming from NYC my standards for pizza are quite high. With that said, UHOP has become a staple of my late-night study groups over the past few years.

The first thing to note is this is Greek pizza. If you're looking for a NY-style slice, you're not gonna find it here or anywhere else in Boston for that matter. Greek pizza is prepared in a pan with more olive oil and uses a lighter tomato sauce. I had never heard of such a thing before coming to New England and opinions are subjective, but I personally find it delicious. To criticize it with the expectations of a NY-style slice is to fundamentally misunderstand what this place is good at.

Owners and employees are courteous, I see some reviews complaining about them, but I have never had an issue. There's usually only two or three people behind the counter so there may be a wait for your food to be prepared but that is to be expected. Food is reasonably priced for an urban area, $13 for a large cheese. They're also open late which has been a lifesaver for me as an underclassman given the dining halls close early. I cannot speak to their individual slices or other food as I only order pies.

P.S. - If you're ordering delivery I'd suggest calling it in or using their website rather than using a delivery app. As an UberEats driver myself let me say those apps truly do eat into a restaurant's...

UHOP is more than just a pizza place—it’s an experience. Known for its mouthwatering Chicken Tikka Masala Pizza, UHOP has quickly become a favorite for those who crave the perfect balance of authentic Italian pizza with a bold Indian twist. The rich, creamy tikka masala sauce paired with tender, flavorful chicken and fresh toppings creates a pizza unlike any other. Every bite is a celebration of flavor, and it’s clear why UHOP stands out as the best place to enjoy this unique creation.

But what truly sets UHOP apart is not just the food—it’s the people. From the moment you step inside, you are welcomed with genuine warmth. The staff are more than just servers; they treat every guest like family. They greet you with smiles, remember your preferences, and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Whether it’s a quick lunch, a cozy dinner, or a late-night craving, the UHOP team ensures that your visit is memorable. Their passion for both great food and great hospitality shines through in everything they do. At UHOP, you don’t just enjoy the best Chicken Tikka Masala Pizza—you feel at home with the warmest...

Please don’t eat here… I stopped here for lunch and thought it would be any regular pizza + wings joint but the food was so horrible I couldn’t even finish. I was starving too and had been walking around for 3+ hrs so I really wanted to finish. All I got was cheese pizza and buffalo tenders but this place is so bad that they messed it up. The tenders were sinewy and somehow both over and undercooked, then went mushy in obviously watered down buffalo sauce. The pizza was like plastic on a cracker. It was completely inedible with the disgusting cheese and the bread tasted so cheap it reminded me of preschool but worse. So trash 😭 how do you mess up pizza and chicken tenders???

Definitely a middle of the road kind of pizza. Today I was at the Museum and decided to get a bite to eat and this place was right across the street. I have had pizza all over North America and this is definitely middle of the road. The sauce is not too bad they definitely put a healthy amount of cheese on their cheese pizzas the price was excellent 1299 for a large pizza including a 2 liter of soda the crust left something to be desired and yes the pizza was greasy to the point of Dripping all over my shirt. I would return if I was in the area and just wanted something quick they have quite a big menu and so I may try something else next time.

Simple Greek run, student priced casual food for the taking. Think pizzas, gyros and the like.. the veggie pizza slice was nice enough, the chicken gyro could have done with some tomato (Greek) sauce (that was absent).. the Spanakopita was richly flavoured with dill and spinach and was wholesome if a bit oily. Don't bother with the cheesecake which was meh.. no complaints overall though given it's the only (cheap) deal in town, bang opposite to the MFA.. and godsent on a cold and windy late night!
