This place needs help!! The store itself needs a new drive thru plan. The city has to think about this location, we have U-Haul, commuter Rail, an island with traffic lights, and a dunks drive thru all in one. We deserve for an engineer to come in and reconfigure this mess.
This level of service wouldn’t be allowed in Newton or Weston.
The inside is always full of people, because there is a lack of direction. There are two registers, but yet and still one person takes orders. Then the same person taking orders makes coffee at the same time. While the others behind her run in circles making things worse.
Recently we started using the drive thru, it’s just as disorganized as inside. My husband gets almond milk everyday in his coffee. Everyday, they don’t understand he is asking for almond milk instead of milk or cream. It almost seems as if they can’t fathom that he wants almond milk.
Eventually when the order is clear we can proceed to pick up the order. We have to keep our fingers crossed as we drive because we don’t know if the kids inside will go crazy with the caramel pumps, forget to put the lid completely on, etc
I just wish I had a Newton or a Westin level dunks in my community. I wish we could offer these folks the training and management they deserve to be successful.
Whatever sham is going on here, is just a result of ppl just saying well it’s in mattapan what can u expect.

I visited around 8:00 AM to just grab two things: an iced green tea and egg bites. After placing my order, I waited patiently—5 minutes… 10 minutes… still nothing, though it's fast food and should be quick.
Finally, at about 8:20 AM—20 minutes later for a green tea (which simply needs a pour) and egg bites—I asked for an update. That’s when things went downhill. I was flat-out met with hostility:
Employee: “What do you want me to do about it? We have no green tea.” Me: “It would have been nice if someone had told me sooner.” Employee: “Well, what do you want me to do? I just got here.” I was appalled. Another employee then interjected, “We do have iced green tea”—and yet, no egg bites had appeared. I immediately asked to speak to a manager.
It became obvious no one was paying attention; they were glued to their phones, communicating zero accountability. I waited 25 minutes total—and was then made to feel like I was at fault for wanting my food.
Finally, I requested a refund—and even then, was met with attitude. No updates. No apologies. No service.
Bottom line: Zero communication. Zero respect for customers....

I simply asked for a plain bagel to be tosted with cheadar cheese and butter. They put the bagel in the oven to be heated and melted the cheese , I noticed that and simply said that I did not want the cheese melted . The girl at the cash register rolled her eyes at me and and said she already melted it ." They need to really clean house with the staff over there because it's horrible , within the 20 mins I was there , there were other customers that were upset also .
