I had an “Old Man & The Sea” sandwich: tuna salad, avocado, arugula, cilantro, and sriracha mayo. It was quite tasty, and the pickles…dear salt-loving, zebra friends, the pickles here are FANTASTIC!!!

I had mine on a sesame bagel this time, and I wouldn’t do that again. The texture was off (toasting it would help, but the bagel was crumblier and gummier than the NY style bagels I like).

The strawberry almond bars and chocolate chip cookies are okay. I like the distinct taste of butter (as a lot of pastries use more processed oil-based items), and the cookie didn’t taste like butter to me, so I wouldn’t get again.

They use MEM tea, which is my favorite, and I enjoyed the Japanese Sencha (SO tasty). They also have a La Marzoco for all you coffee lovers, and every kind of sweetener: from raw honey and stevia to Splenda to cane sugar.

The cafe isn’t cheap, but it does have a sprawling space for the area, with comfy padded chairs or bar stools or hard chairs, board games, and a reading nook with art for sale.

Fully accessible cafe...

This place is AWESOME! Best bakery I’ve been to in the whole state, and it was just close to my house, the whole time! The food is delicious and fresh, their chocolate cookie chips are awesome. And their hot chocolate? It is better than the Starbucks one and way more cheaper. I ended up staying there for about 2 hours on my day off, I was so comfortable that I didn’t notice the time and yet, no employee made me feel that “you got to leave”. Nope, the employees were naturally nice and friendly. Many people were having different conversations in the bakery, some seemed to talk business and some, school. Oh and, when I left the bakery I forgot something I bought to go, one employee went out, called me in the street holding my cake in the hand. So nice of her considering how the cake tasted so good!

I’m so surprised with the place I discovered, especially considering the really affordable prices. I’ll definitely...

I've been a loyal customer for over eight months, despite feeling unwelcome by one of your morning shift employees since my first visit. I tried to overlook this and continued returning for the excellent coffee. However, my presence is consistently ignored, and today was the final straw. The same employee who took my order failed to fulfill it, merely pretending to do side work instead. After waiting over 10 minutes without seeing my coffee being made, I approached the counter to inquire about it. There was no apology or display of customer service, and it felt discriminatory as other customers of a different race were treated differently.

I'm very disappointed and hope you will provide better training for your employees. If she wishes to continue working in the service industry, she needs to adjust her mindset. No one deserves to be treated in...

The coffee was good - if you enjoy it served with a side of existential dread and passive aggression. Now, the avocado toast. A masterpiece of restraint. A toast wearing avocado as a mere suggestion. I’ve seen thicker layers of lip balm. It was a minimalist interpretation of breakfast - one that made me wonder if avocados had gone extinct overnight. And as for the “roasted red peppers” promised on the menu? False advertising at its finest. I scoured that toast like an archaeologist. All I found was a tragic sprinkle of chili flakes - lonely, misplaced, and doing their best. By the time I left, I wasn’t full - but I was filled with questions. Mostly: how dare they? Two stars for the coffee, and one for the sheer audacity and the culinary gaslight.
