Great drinks, but sometime the staff understanding of instructions can be off. They always willing to fix it right away for you. Peter is also I believe the manager there, handsome, and really welcoming to all the guest. Quick to responding any problems, and a great listener to problems. I enjoy the atmosphere there. Is also where I first met my true love, and have such a beautiful memories. That's the place is worth going to. And of course, the drinks I recommend The. mango, passion fruit, pineapple smoothie with whip cream. The Devil Chocolate cake is to die for, it going to be one of our wedding cake. The cookies and muffin fancier. And in the picture is my love, and I first ever to had together. It usually come with strawberries, and I was allergic to strawberry. He panic and about to buy another one, I just put it to the side. He ate any extras one, I laughed, because he wasn't a sweet tooth type. Just go and try it yourself. It also very convenient, right by the Fields corner station. #loveatfristsightplace #cocoleafyummy #breakfastatcocoleaf

Went to a Vietnamese Cafe to cool off. I was curious at so many foods and drinks I have never tried, and Artichoke Tea (supposedly helps with everything from liver detox to adjusting to no fall bladder to weight loss to you name it). I was also curious about the Rau ma, but thankfully they insisted I try a sample first. I’m glad because it wasn’t a taste I liked. The Artichoke tea (THANH NHIỆT) was delicious, and she put basil seeds and some jelly inside. It was honestly a bit too sweet. I now know to just get it plain. It’s great as is! Lastly, I tried Bánh Bò Nướng (Vietnamese Honeycomb Cake). It’s usc a unique taste AND texture. Recipes I can find online are made with a tapioca starch, a ton of eggs, coconut milk, a little butter and sugar, baking powder, and pandan. I will have to come back! This also has the best Halo Halo (Philippino dessert) I’ve seen (didn’t try it but it is the prettiest).

The place is beautiful, the service is good. I appreciated their kindness by allowing me time to decide since it was my first time. I went with one other person and in some ways it was a hit, in others it was a miss but I think it may have been my lack of knowledge. Ché Jasmine was pretty delicious, some very sweet notes but overall balanced. Mango smoothie was delicious according to the person I was with. Salmon Crepe not my favorite though I like that they used the yogurt sauce vs the usual combination with cream cheese. It was ok. Matchalicious (sweet crepe) it was pretty good, interesting surprise with the chocolate jelly. (I think that's what it is) My favorite: pop corn chicken in garlic soy sauce. So worth it!!

The interior is cozy, and it was pretty lively on a holiday afternoon. - Matcha Cream Puff ($5): The shell had a nice crunch (I would have liked a harder crunch, but that just comes down to preference), and there was plenty of matcha cream, but the level of sweetness made it not overwhelming. - Corn Milk with Pandan (Sữa Bắp Lá Dứa) ($7.75): This is the only place I’ve found around here that sells this. It was tasty. A little thick but smooth and sweet but refreshing. They offer an ice bag if you aren’t able to refrigerate or drink it within thirty minutes. Service was friendly. My only complaint is that the prices are high, but I was satisfied with the taste.

Coco Leaf is my go-to spot for cold chè AKA Vietnamese dessert drink/soup. Chè comes in many forms but if you're looking for simple, fast, and refreshing chè then Coco Leaf's got you covered. For hot chè then yeah you want to go to your more traditional Vietnamese places. I love their Che Saigon which consists of a coconut milk base with hot luu (mock pomegranate seeds made with jicama and tapioca), pandan jelly, coconut meat, and grass jelly. Super tasty, refreshing and wonderfully sweet. Coco Leaf also has bubble tea, snacks, and more dessert options like crepes but I go here for their chè. The passion fruit jasmine fruit tea is also a delicious option.
