I just wrote a review of this place on Yelp based on the unwelcoming experience I had, but I’m writing it here again to spread the word. The drinks were not that bad, but they were quite overpriced. But what baffled me the most was the unnerving behavior from the manager there. After I wrote my review on Yelp, he immediately attacked me with made up stories and lies saying that I brought a McDonald’s bag into his store and violated his policy. I had no idea what he talking about and I tried to explain that the last time I’ve been to coco leaf was quite a while ago and I certainly did not bring in any McDonald’s. I remember clearly coming in empty handed with no outside food and was only ordering a few things. I may not remember what I ordered specifically, but there was no McDonald’s involved whatsoever. However, he kept accusing me of bringing outside food in his restaurant and the further the conversation got, the more ridiculous it became. Yelp is a website to share experiences and give constructive feedback. I was completely entitled to write my own review based on my personal experience. The owner clearly did not respect my review as he made up lies and stories about me, thus I’m deeply disappointed considering that coco leaf was one of my go-to places regardless of the priciness of the drinks; but it is now safe to say I will not be returning here after this experience. I hope he learns to not jump to conclusions and make up lies just because of...

Been a regular at this place ever since it opened up. I got the mango smoothies at first to try things out, and it was really good. After that, I tried out their dessert crepes(Matchalicious and the berry one) and thought to myself, "Wow, that's a huge portion for a crepe!". Same thing goes with their other Savory breakfast crepes too, those will fill you up nicely.

Their boba pearls are cooked well to a soft but not falling apart rate, and their fruit drinks are honestly pretty good especially the Fresca lineups. One thing I don't like much is that some of the leaves they put into the drink so it's tougher to slurp up topping and actual fruit, but that's really it. The Honeydew Jasmine tea with crystal boba is really interesting with an addictive flavor, it had my girlfriend coming over all the way from Canada just to try it out again.

Popcorn chicken is solid. The portion is alright, but the taste is pretty unique and I couldn't find another popcorn chicken item anywhere in Boston that tasted the same or as good, specifically for the Salt and Pepper one.

I'm going to be moving soon but I thought I would just leave a review solely because this place was such a staple for me for the past several years being in Dorchester. If they ever open up elsewhere in Toronto, I'll go there...

I called and placed a order for pick up for food and drinks over the phone at exactly 8:34pm and a girl picked up and took my order, I also repeated the order back to her three times and even spelled it out to make sure the order was correct because it was mostly in Vietnamese and wanted to make sure the order was correct. When I got there I was standing in line for 15 minutes. when the guy finally noticed me I told him that I was there to pick up,he checked his computer and looked nervous after seeing him run back and forth I asked him if there was a problem he replied no problem, minutes later he asked if a guy or girl picked up and took the order and I said girl, then eventually he says sorry but she didn't put it in the computer and I waited all that time for nothing. I wasn't going to waste anymore time for them to start another order and make the food and drinks because it would of taken too long and I didn't have anymore time to wait. Same reason why I ordered ahead of time to avoid that. Never got a sorry or even a attempt to fix the problem so i walked out extremely dissatisfied and upset. Thanks for the horrible experience...

Great drinks, but sometime the staff understanding of instructions can be off. They always willing to fix it right away for you. Peter is also I believe the manager there, handsome, and really welcoming to all the guest. Quick to responding any problems, and a great listener to problems. I enjoy the atmosphere there. Is also where I first met my true love, and have such a beautiful memories. That's the place is worth going to. And of course, the drinks I recommend The. mango, passion fruit, pineapple smoothie with whip cream. The Devil Chocolate cake is to die for, it going to be one of our wedding cake. The cookies and muffin fancier. And in the picture is my love, and I first ever to had together. It usually come with strawberries, and I was allergic to strawberry. He panic and about to buy another one, I just put it to the side. He ate any extras one, I laughed, because he wasn't a sweet tooth type. Just go and try it yourself. It also very convenient, right by the Fields corner station. #loveatfristsightplace #cocoleafyummy #breakfastatcocoleaf
