Great “newish” independent bookstore in the Field’s Corner neighborhood of Dorchester. The staff were super nice and helpful. The space is well organized and has comfy window seating. There is a cafe bar with coffee, tea, wine, and food. I didn’t order food but the coffee was good. The books- they have an excellent selection of books including books that I haven’t see in the bigger bookstores. I was invited to a Poetry Night got dressed up and turned away at the door. Not sure why the hostel or rudeness from staff and owner but rest assure I won't return given I am a generous person with money. I have supported my community so much but I am feeling like I will no longer do this. I was looked up and down the next day when I expressed my concerns.
