I order from here weekly for my end of the week reward. I've been trying different things on the menu regularly, and I honestly haven't had anything that wasn't well-prepared, even if I didn't care for it. It's not my favorite place for pho, but try some of the other soups!

A lot of the appetizers are really at least two good servings, such as the salt fried baby fish.

Some of my favorites:

FIsh Maw soup Hue Spicy Beef Lemon Grass Soup and Sliced Pork Clear Noodle Seafood soup Salt Fried Chicken wing

June 2019 - I actually went here in person for the first time. I came alone on a Monday afternoon because I knew it would be slow. I loved being able to just chill with the wood paneling, the red velvet, and the Viet pop music. The food was great as usual - I had the squid with scallions and ginger because I figured the squid would be frozen anyhow. Delicious, great service, and reminded me very much of the Midwest Chinese places of my youth (names like "Golden Palace."

The food is great and authenticity local. Best seafood restaurant near Freeport street, which used to be the major Boston fish port, for we are...

I had the scallion and ginger lobster, Cantonese style lobster, salt and pepper lobster, greens with garlic stir fried, salt and pepper squid, Thai fried rice, and crab with asparagus soup.

Pro: The salt and pepper quid, the lobster with ginger and scallion and the salt and pepper lobster were enjoyable.

Con: The soup had some gameness to it and the asparagus may as well have been non existent, the Cantonese style lobster was a let down, it was lobster with ginger and scallion with lobster sauce poured on top. That combination didn't work for me. The greens with garlic, the greens were old so the texture was a bit tough. The Thai fried rice was a bit dry and I counted 3-4 shrimps in it.

The whole meal was warm. I was told that I could order early and that the cook will be told that I was going to pick up at a later time so they'll try to time it (cook the food) so that my food will be hot when I pick up. It was not hot, it was warm. I feel like things could have worked out better for $160....

When I was in high school I lived on neponset ave and was looking for a place to by a fresh fish, I purchased a fish from there is was not fresh. My friend recommended this restaurant to me later on in life and wanted me to try the fried lobster. We made a pre-order for take out to save time, they stated that the order was canceled when it was not. So we took a trip to the restaurant for nothing. The manager/owner was very rude although it was their mistake. For my brothers and sisters if you know what I mean, This is not the place for us they rather serve their own kind, I don’t know if that is beneficial to their business in this neighborhood. They do not have respect for our community evan if we are willing to support. I rather support a business that is not prejudice towards others.

Posted: Nov 30th 2020. I have recently ordered few times from saigon again. The service has slightly improved. I will say there salt and pepper shrimp and lobster is the...

The restaurant was pretty popular on a late Friday night, they are open pretty late for the area. Parking can be tough with the road busy and the narrow road, it's best to park on the side street a block away. Service was average. The clay pot with catfish and pork really complements the sweet and sour catfish soup. Please be aware the fish have small bones inside, it's normal. The caramelized sauce in the clay pot has really good flavor, it comes with a good amount of meat. The sweet and sour soup was delicious too and was nice to pour over rice. The shrimp with walnut is one of my favorites and has a really nice mayo sauce. This is probably one of the better places that makes this style of lobster. The restaurant cuts the lobster in an easy way to pull out the meat.

We went here with a fairly empty stomach so the expectation was already lower than normal. However, the taste still did not bring me satisfaction. Everything was salty, especially the caramelized fish. The clams were oddly expensive ($2 per clam as we counted), and again, the Pho broth was salty and I could taste the premade seasoning mix. The average price here is definitely more expensive than other Vietnamese places in the area. One nice thing about this place is that it opens pretty late, and they seem to focus more on family-style dishes, so if you just want a big space to hang out and share food with friends, this will do the job. However, for a good culinary experience, I would probably not go back here.

A Chinese-Vietnamese-Thai infused restaurant that was our first restaurant stop on our way to Boston MA. Seafood was Fresh and the Fried Lobster was awesome, not to mention the Oysters were huge! We got to try the fish, and it was fried to perfection. This place also offers a variety of desserts too. The staff was nice and accommodating which is always a plus for restaurants. I also noticed that this place lets you rent a section of the restaurant if you were throwing a Party which is great. (they were setting it up a section when we were eating so I had to ask) I took a couple of shots of the food we ordered. Hope this helps! Karl Cabadin @kcSnapimagery - Food Trips
