
I love the food and the people but customer service is what is most important to me.
On December 23 I ordered 5 of their extra long subs to be picked up on Christmas Eve at 7am. While I was there I ordered a lg ham & cheese, sm tuna, 1 oj and a ginger ale soda which totaled seventy something dollars. I paid with $100 bill and was given a $20 and some singles.
On the eve I picked up the tray with my subs but didn’t realize it was 4 instead of the 5 subs I initially ordered. I thought no big deal I’ll let them know when I return because they don’t pick up their phone due to long lines and I assumed they were honest people.
I returned there on December 29th with all hopes that they’d replenish my sub. I didn’t want the $11-$12 back but instead I was greeted with no you ordered 4 and not sure why you paid that much. They did everything to convince me that I was wrong and personally I was OFFENED by it. I don’t go around cheating businesses out of money. I really felt like they should have done the right thing and met me half way because the gentleman didn’t keep any record of my purchase and I wasn’t given a receipt.
They could’ve made it right with 2 small subs which still wouldn’t total what I lost. They were obviously not concerned with my unhappiness and could not justify why I paid what I did. I think that is poor customer service.
I support black owned business and I’m sure they won’t miss my business but it’s the principal.
To ideal sub shop Thank you for cheating one of your loyal customers. Hope all of you enjoy my $12.

Read moreIdeals hands down is one of the best sub shops in the state of Massachusetts. I mean that y'all need to get on down there to Dudley Street in Roxbury and get you one of their enormous Subs. They can make a sub as big as a yard long for real. A great place to go in order for a small Class party or a business meeting. The prices are unbelievable for the amount of food that you get and the meat that they put inside these Subs are so filling . Amazing go check them out . The boss man it's a family-owned business . Their all sweet and humble people . They need our support to keep their business running trust me they're not going anywhere no time soon. That line be flowing out the door every day. So wear some sensible shoes. Make sure your lunch time is more than a half an hour. Sometimes it can be a little wait. but they take care everybody that waits .Your truly going to be satisfied with the food that you eat . Try the steak and cheese bomb . Oh and that ham and cheese with everything on it. Is to die for LOL. My advice go with the empty stomach you'll enjoy every bit of it and you'll taste every bit of seasoning...
Read moreIn past years this was the sub shop to go. Although they still have a line waiting to order, their service has gotten poor. My last two visits were disappointing. The first visit I ordered a sub with everything while telling the guy what "everything" items I wanted. I had to return it because it only had meat and cheese. They were friendly and made another with everything. Just yesterday, I went again and ordered subs, with everything, for me and a friend. I told the guy taking orders about my last experience and he said they probably gave me the wrong sub. Ok, I got home and my sub was missing tomatoes, onions, Pickles and hots. Right!!! Only had lettuce and mayo. My friend called and said her sub didn't have everything as well. Didn't bother to go back. I'm not sure what the problem is there but they need to fix it. My next stop...
