Went here for the first time for takeout. didn't realize until after ordering that the cashier was not wearing a mask and this sign was on the wall. (As a note, the Department of Justice has issued an alert about these posters as a fraudulent reference to the ADA and has not issued any such signs, nor endorse their content). I tried to have a conversation with the staff working front-of-house about the sign, saying how others wearing masks makes me feel safer when going out as someone with an underlying health condition. They were not receptive and were outright anti-science, stating that masks were more dangerous than coronavirus and referring to "germ theory" and the science around masks as an opinion. I left before receiving my order. No one in the kitchen was wearing a mask either. This is honestly very disappointing. I was really excited to try their food seeing the good reviews, and the entire place has a very cool vibe. But, I simply don't feel safe returning to Moogy's.

Music is indeed fire. Finally a place that’s not playing Carley Rae jepson and too loud pop. Good prices awesome space. Food was great. The person manning the counter was wearing a mask which was a relief cause I saw that conspiratorial photo about how masks suffocate people… seems they’ve recanted that. Overall I’ll be here often. Enough space to read if you wanted or hang out with friends. Not a packed place, but this is exactly what I was looking for. Photos are of the back of the bar that I didn’t see pictures before

Clean dive bar with a creative menu and board games. If the food names don’t make you laugh like the “mancakes” meat infused pancakes, playing board games sure will! This is a great place for a kid-friendly brunch. The menu is mounted on the walls. Place your order at the kitchen window and choose a game. I got the mushrooms and spinach omelette with home fries and rye toast. We grabbed coffee from Fuel next door. Perfect family style brunch option!

Let me tell you something about Moogy's. I searched the Internet for a good sandwich place and stumbled upon this supposed gem of a place which was located conveniently near BC campus. The actual restaurant has nice atmosphere and good music with a lot of space. The menu seemed interesting and tasty. Service wasn't anything spectacular but there was nothing to complain about especially since I ordered a sandwich to-go. Now, I ordered a chicken cutlets sandwich with fried onions and peppers with barbecue sauce. The sandwich itself was microwaved chicken tenders slathered with an overly sweet barbecue sauce and regular onions and peppers that were flaccid and dissapointing in flavor. The chicken "cutlets" were not crispy or fried at all and the interior of the chicken was flavorless and sad. There was not even a sad imitation of moisture coming from the chicken likely meaning that it was taken from a freezer just moments before. The bread was untoasted and soft and the entire eating experience was just oddly sweet and soft. There was no contrasting texture and the seasoning, assuming there was any, was completely covered by the overwhelming flavor of the store bought barbecue sauce. The meal was frankly dissapointing and unappealing. Perhaps it was the sandwich I got but the lack of attention to the sandwich likely describes a lot in their attitude towards their...

If you haven't noticed already, it's becoming increasingly harder to find great bars in this city. Loud music, overpriced drinks, and an ever-present feeling of soullessness are qualities abundant wherever you look.

But take a walk into Moogys and you'll immediately notice what sets it apart. Warm speakers play your favorite funk, rock, and soul classics. Dim lights hanging over wooden booths create an inviting and comforting atmosphere. Play your favorite boardgame alongside some generously priced and delicious comfort food. Don't forget to grab a PBR at the best price in the city! This whole experience is complimented with the friendliest, most down-to-earth and caring staff you've ever met.

I seriously love this place and can't...
