Murl's is an amazing Jamaican restaurant (as a Jamaican, I don't say that lightly)! I've eaten several items from their menu and they all are outstanding - the jerk chicken, oxtail, curry chicken, sauteed salmon, and especially the mac & cheese! The portions are always big, the price is reasonable (especially for the amount of food you get) and the staff is great. Last summer (2020) Murl's catered my wedding and it was truly one of the best decisions we made in the entire wedding planning process. The pricing on their catering menu (available if you email them) is extremely reasonable. The guests at our wedding (many who are Jamaican) constantly talk about how difficult it is to find Jamaican restaurants where the food is just how you hope/expect it to be. Murl's was the exact opposite - they exceeded everyone's expectations and even guests who typically do not like mac & cheese cleared the mac & cheese dish! To this day, when we talk about our wedding, Murl's is one of the first things we talk about. They were on time, extremely responsive, and easy to work with. The only thing I had to do was make my order request, put a deposit down, and pay the rest 3 days before my wedding - the rest was in their hands and it was amazing. Huge shout out to Dane (the owner), Amani and the whole Murl's Kitchen crew! It's definitely a staple/favorite restaurant for my wife and I.
