I went to the Popeyes store to pick up my order on 12/22/2024. The main door was closed, so I waited in the drive-thru line for 20 minutes to pick up the order. When the employee (who said he is the supervisor, Caesar) opened the pick-up window, he told me he had already given that order to three different drivers, and therefore, he didn’t want to prepare the order again.
I explained to him that if the delivery application sends the order again to the restaurant, it means they are paying for it each time. However, he said, “I don’t care, whatever, I am not going to prepare the food. I don’t want to waste my food. Tell the customer to cancel the order.” I explained again that reordering is the customer’s choice, which means they don’t want to cancel the order. He replied, “Drive away, do not block the drive-thru line,” and then closed the window.
I called Grubhub Driver Support to report the issue. While Grubhub Support was speaking with him, they explained that Grubhub pays for the order each time it is sent to the restaurant, so it is their responsibility to prepare it. Yet again, he told the Grubhub Support team, “Whatever, I am not going to prepare the order. I am the supervisor of this store (1630 VFW Pkwy, West Roxbury, MA 02132), and I want it this way.”
After all this, Grubhub Support had to cancel the order. I just want to report that the supervisor of this store, Caesar, behaved in a discriminatory and unacceptable manner. He treated me poorly, and his actions were inappropriate. Please ensure whoever is responsible for this store takes action...
Read moreThe short Latina lady working now, black hair— may be the manger is rude, and unprofessional. You gave me someone else’s food that was in front of me. I came back to return the food and you gave me a nasty attitude, Unprofessional, disrespectful attitude. I kept telling you, the older gentleman, black gentleman, and his wife were in front of me and you gave me their food. You just ignored everything that I was saying, turned your back, slamming the food down on the damn table. Then you went right on helping the other customer, and even the other customer said she was disrespectful by ignoring me. I did the right thing in returning the food back to you guys to give to the right person. So, thank you to the other Latina lady, who looks like she was new there, for being professional and respectful. Then when I got to the car, the food that you gave me was old and uncooked. So I recommend nobody comes and eat here. This is my fault for not following the reviews that were left here, that explain how you wait forever, which is fine, but the food is not good. This lady needs to...
Read moreToo bad because I like the quality of the food but the service is so unstable, every time is a different issue. The store used to be open for pickups only, I had to download the app. This last time, after ordering my food online I tried to open the door to get inside and for my surprise, doors were close, I tried to speak to the manager through the window but she gave me an attitude saying I am the manager here and we NEVER give pickup orders "in" the store, "big layer" I had to go around on VFW parkway to get in line again. Once I got there, I was told that there was no coleslaw, I asked the kid to cancel one part of my order and he said: I can't do that, you have to do it through the app, I asked him then no to give to me the side orders (he was going to give me ff as a substitute for my coleslaw) because I was going to cancel and he said "OK" Once at home, when I checked my bag EVERYTHING was there. I was upset with the app and the people working at the store. Consequently, I'm cancelling the app, what good does it make? I don't know,...
