Didn’t get to try the food because unfortunately because the Google map times were inaccurate. Therefore giving a biased rating.

The door was still unlocked so I walked in and asked if there was anything available to get (I was ready to eat plain rice) and was pretty rudely told no. I recommended they update their Google maps to avoid further frustration to potential customers in the future.

UPDATE 2/20/24:

I have since ordered food from Tarboosh 6 times. I have to say the food is pretty tasty, which is why I keep going back (granted also it is also convenient as it is only a 5 minute walk from me). The service and quality is still a bit inconsistent though, which is why I have kept the rating where I have. I previously really liked the fattoush salad with added chicken, but then the last two times the salad was missing toppings or simply not enough of everything to justify a $16 salad cost. For best value, I would recommend getting the chicken shawarma saj wrap plate!

We ordered catering from Tarboosh today and wow! It was so amazing I had to write a review. I was referred to Tarboosh by Ashish and I ended up calling the restaurant to try it out. Their customer service is perfect - constant communication, making sure every item is correct and sending us all needed invoices ahead of delivery. On delivery day, they even called to give an estimated arrival time (earlier than expected)! Shaina is just a boss woman - delivery and cooking this amazing food! She rocks! Don’t even get me started on presentation! The hummus could have been photographed and the rice smelled amazing. The Nutella Manakish was so good, all the food was like eating cooking from your mom’s kitchen!!! They also accommodated all the vegans in my group. I didn’t know what to expect from this restaurant but they blew me away :) and the owner is involved in the whole process! Please support...

As an hospitality professional myself, I was astonished to see that staff handled food without any regard to basic hygiene standards or public health ordinances. When asked why they opted not to wear gloves when handling the food I ordered, they simply responded by advising me to avoid coming back to their establishment altogether - made an effort to lecture me on how it was my loss if I choose not to eat the food and that they believed they had washed their hands enough for one day. Let alone the ridiculously slow service, the utterly indifferent attitude, and the completely unprofessional conduct... staff then began to debate me instead of opting to acknowledge their mistake. I would never recommend this place to any one. And more importantly, I would advise all visitors to keep an eye out for the blatant substandard health...
