We visited on a Thursday morning in mid-June 2025.
There is limited street parking here in the neighborhood. We arrived just before opening but unfortunately there was a group tour that was booked in the first time slot of there are only so many spots on the tour. So we were not able to get to actually go into the house because we were on a tight schedule.
We did take some pictures outside and if you follow the path around the side of the house, there is a visitor center in the basement of the house. It's completely ADA accessible as well with a wheel chair elevator.
The visitor center isn't super big but they have all the park store merch lined up along the walls and there is a little area with a large television and chairs that I am guessing they play a short film on.
To the left is is the main desk and they had the tickets to get into the house along with the NPS Passport Cancellation Stamps which is the main reason we came, other than trying to tour the house but that was no longer an option. We had other things we wanted to do that day.
There is a bathroom right when you walk in and a water bottle filler.

The site is open Wednesday through Sunday. You can only view the home on your own at certain hours each day (check website), otherwise, they do offer a free 30 minute tour. I highly suggest you take the tour. It highlights the early years of the Kennedy family. Not all the furnishings actually belonged to the family but it does give you sense of what a home in Boston was like in the early 1900's.
The entrance is located in the back of the house and on a quiet residential street...
Read moreStopped here on vacation to take a tour and so my girls could earn their junior ranger badges. The site is recently renovated. The visitor center is around the house in the basement and is the renovated part. There is a bathroom down here and lockers to put large bookbags in before taking a tour. There is a short video on JFK and lots of cool things in the small gift shop. The volunteer who led our tour was very informative and the house itself is...
