I would love to give this venue 4 or 5 stars, I really would. It's a great little venue that is perfect for small intimate shows. My problem lies with accessibility. I emailed them in advance to request ADA seating, as they mentioned it was available on their website. I do this for every concert I go to at any venue. I was told that seating would be provided to me and my companion thay provided a view of the stage. To start, there is a short step up into the venue that is not marked at all. I tripped up it, but was lucky to have my cane with me to prevent a fall. When I entered, I was shown to the "accessible" seating. Two barstools. I use a cane and am quite short. I don't have the stability or strength to climb onto a barstool. I asked if they had any lower chairs available, because I can't use the barstools. The staff member said he didn't know and went to ask. I was told there were no lower chairs in the entire venue. My companion and I decided to go and get merch before I attempted to climb into the barstool with her assistance. And lo and behold, we found a normal sized chair with the venue initials painted on the back. So clearly there WAS a shorter chair available. I asked one staff member if I could grab that chair and switch it out for one of the stools. That staff member said yes. But I was then stopped by another staff member and told he had to ask his boss who "runs the show" if it was okay. She said she had never seen the chair before. I pointed out that it clearly belonged to the venue and was finally allowed to bring the chair over to the accessible seating area. I was then told by the 2nd staff member in that conversation that it was a standing room only venue. As if I didn't contact the venue ahead of time to make sure accessible seating was available. I would not be able to attend otherwise. Their idea of a "view of the stage" is also laughable. I could see precisely 3 feet of the stage and the rest was completely blocked by the crowd, which was pretty frustrating. But being short, I was kind of used to it. The attached photos show the view I had along with the fact that people were standing in a zone clearly marked off to prevent people from standing there. No staff was ever in the area making sure it was clear.

First time visiting & it was an okay(ish) venue. Maybe I just came on the wrong night?.. 1] Wristband was put on tight as hell, no biggie though. 2] Security protocol was nearly useless as the staff seemed untrained in the process or were unaware/unsure of the exact procedure. 3] Floors were so dirty/sticky when first walking inside that I stuck to the barricade the whole night. Very similar to a fly on sticky fly tape. 4] After the show had finished, folks were getting kicked out & the staff were kinda aggressive about it. I understand people need to leave quickly but it didn't seem very effective. 5] Due to being in such a rush to get patrons out, one staff member let a couple walk out with alcohol. About 5 minutes later, 3 staff members (basically their whole security team for the night) then had to run outside after the couple to dispose of said drinks - they didn't even catch up with them. 6] The sound mix was off the whole night. Vocals were so low the crowd had to ask them to turn it up. Feedback from the speakers distracted from the bands performance. To sum it up: I'm not mad... just kinda disappointed. I've been going to rock shows for about 15 years & I've never had such a bitter experience at a smaller venue like this - definitely not the bands fault whatsoever. I hope Brighton Music Hall takes this review into consideration when it come to protocol/training/cleanliness/overall guest experience.

The Brighton Music Hall was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! The staff at this venue is attentive, VERY welcoming and do their BEST to make you feel at home!! I had GREAT interactions with the guy manning the entrance door and one of the security personnel whom, although I'm sure could handle any unruly guest, was approachable, pleasant and friendly. Dani, MY BARTENDER, was just a joy to deal with throughout the night and other than having VIP tickets to meet the performers, Dani was the other highlight of my time at the BMH!!! These people made watching the MiaxAlly performance just incredibly fun pleasurable!! I highly recommend the Brighton Music Hall as a venue to enjoy any artist that is playing there. You couldn't find a more friendly staff anywhere!!!

Worst concert experience of my life. I walk in have my ID ready and go get a drink. I turn to my friend who stated clearly he was not 21 to the people and they assumed he “said he took a sip.” I was so excited to go out and see one of my favorite artists, but alas. i was dragged out the building friend following. I said calmly, “this is a miscommunication” and the man working laughed in my face and kicked my best friend and I out within 3 minutes of entering the door. I was looking forward to this show for months. I paid two tickets, drove 2 hours and back for my favorite artist to be treated terribly. I asked “so I have to go?” And he said “get the fu** out of here I don’t want to see your face here.” I was given no attitude and tried to explain but simply was just yelled at and kicked out. My friend not knowing what’s going on to me and then he asks if we have to leave and the security guard literally pushed him out for not doing anything. Others were treated with the same exact disrespect from having to be out there in the rain. The customer service was beyond terrible. We were upset but wasn’t sure why someone who works here thinks it’s okay to physically push someone away who is trying to understand the misconstruing. I, myself, was grabbed by the wrist harshly as he mockingly and aggressively takes my wrist band off. The band members were even scared of their own security and tried to help. I don’t believe we deserved this for a miscommunication issue and drove 2.5 hours in the rain with traffic and back, paid $60 to stand in the rain and be physically and verbally attacked. I was so excited to see Ghostemane... planned for months just to be ruined for something he thought was different. We were in there for 2 minutes like he was trying to kick people out. I just wanted to see this musician and ended up nearly crying in the parking lot for having to end up wasting $80 and parking and a 2 hour car drive to be treated this badly. Would not even listen and definitely didn’t want to hear anything I said and mocked me. As a college student and worker, I save for student loans and saved up my money for these tickets for months. It was the only thing I look forward to. I hope at least maybe there is a customer helpline or someone to help me at least get...

I needed an ADA ticket for the event as I cannot stand due to a documented handicap. I followed the instructions on the website but couldn't get through to any of the four box office phone numbers. So I went into the city to purchase a ticket at the box office (as the website stated.). When I got to there, the line was blocks long and so slow that the opening (the artist I came to see) set began as I was still a block away. I made the decision to cut the line to get to the box office who allowed me to stay, but out of nowhere, the man sitting in the stool yelled at me to get out even though I was just let in! I tried to talk, and he got angrier and called another security guard, a monstrous man with a beard, who KICKED ME OUT! My first time being kicked out of any establishment, and all while bawling my eyes out because neither of these two men would allow me to speak and explain. By the way, this all happened in front of the ENTIRE line of people and was completely inappropriate, not to mention, beyond embarrassing.

Fix your website to include that none of your phone numbers work so don’t bother following instructions to call first (I called 20+ times). And remove ADA accessible seating because it's not really an option unless maybe you look like what the security thinks "disabled" looks like. I had my father on speakerphone the entire time and he heard everything these guys said to each other (as I mentioned, they would not look or talk to me).

I have never seen a more unprofessional, poorly run venue in my life. Tonight was an unbelievably traumatic and a downright gross experience. I will never come here again and will warn anyone considering this venue that it is discriminatory...
