“ Crazy guy that hates dogs on duty “ So I have been a museum member for years . I have spent over the years allot of money to park here . I have always used the bathroom in the break room . A couple of times over the years I have brought my “dog Happy”. Or my other dog Princess. To use the bathroom in the break room . I might take less than 5 minutes in the break room bathroom if that . Today I used the bathroom and normally; all the workers are nice and welcoming to me and my dog happy or Princess. Making us feel good and welcomed . Making us feel Happy literally to spend money here . Today the worker in the picture below. Yelled at me about bringing my dog to use the bathroom. I explained the above and he still proceeded to reprimand me about my dog in the bathroom. He was rude . He was hollering at me, after all the money I have spent parking here over the years. I am not to happy about this situation that occurred to me & my dog happy . Terrible customer service and I advise the manager to please attended to this issue. As a customer that spends lots of money here ; I except to feel welcomed! This situation was...
Read moreI was there last week as a chaperone for an 8th grade field trip. Our visit was amazing and too brief. The docent was informative and patient while presenting some pieces in the American Art Gallery, pieces representative of specific time periods from the early 1800s to the mid 1900s. Our students also enjoyed the opportunity to work with museum staff to create their own works of art.
My only issue with the trip (besides being too short) was how difficult it was to get driving directions to and from the museum when buses are not allowed on Storrow Drive. Our driver was very confused, and Google Maps wouldn’t provide an alternative. I’ve since discovered that taking 93 to the Massachusetts Ave Connector and cutting across to Tremont appears to be the most direct and least time consuming alternative. But, please make it an option on Google Maps to provide these directions...
Read moreThis was the worst parking experience I've ever had. After paying $32 for parking on a Sunday for 2 hours, we sat in the car waiting to exit for 40 minutes because of all the traffic in the garage. At the exit, they then wanted to charge us another $12 because it took so long. They need to treat closing of the museum like the end of a concert, managing the traffic outside the gates so cars can turn right and left and not block others from exiting. They also need ensure customers pay before going to their cars so dozens of cars don't have to sit idling while people figure out how to pay at the exit boom, and they need to have more staff on hand to manage traffic for. And for $32 for 2 hours of weekend parking, they can darn...
