Applebee's Grill + Bar — Restaurant in Bothell

I've been coming to this location for a while now. I like to frequent restaurants where the staff is not only welcoming but also GENUENLY friendly, that is this place. The Manager Michael calls me by name as he does his best to get in touch with the customers and always makes sure you are well taken care of. He has brought my food a few times, always with an smile. The other Managers, Marisol and Dave, also do a great job. Always looking around and coming to you to see if you have everything you need or just to say hi, super friendly both of them as they also do their best to delegate their staff, it can easily be observed that they dive in their roles. The service staff is also GREAT ! they are all so friendly and welcoming. Elda, one of the bartenders, is very attentive and always makes sure you are liking your drinks, always happy and smiling even thou she is under constant pressure. Erica, Monica, Segundo and the rest of the staff that i dont know their names yet do a GREAT TEAM WORk, always happy alwasy attentive and always on top of their game. Overall, this applebees is one of the best ive tried. and ive been to alsmost all of them in the state of Washington. I would also lke to mention the Grill Cook with long hair, If you see him around, ORDER RIB EYE, he really know how to get it done right, dont know his name but i know he cooked my Rib Eye cuz i asked my server and he happend to be walking bay at that time. super cool dude. Do Not order Uber from them. Missing key ingredients Every time.

The first time, I ordered a Cajun Shrimp salad but it didn't come with any dressing. I had to use my Blue Cheese dressing, which was the only kind I had at home. The flavors, obviously, did not match whatsoever. I gave them a second chance and ordered the Prime Rib Dipper. They did not include the dip.

I submitted my information, and they said they would send me an email, but they never followed up. The issue was never resolved, and now Uber won't do anything about it because it's past the "Complaint Time". This was done intentionally. They were hoping my window of opportunity would close and that's why they misled me with an email.

I'm definitely not ordering from them again. It's too expensive to not get what you want, especially with essential things like dressing on salad and dip with the dipper.

The waitress normally adds these things with an assigned table. So, they are missing this step, repeatedly, when it comes to the basics. The meal just goes straight from Chef to Driver, missing the steps in between that the waitress normally does. I know this is what's happening, but I definitely don't want to waste a bunch of money (or risk them spitting in my food) if I informed them of their error.

We arrived at this location close to midnight, and the store closes at 1 AM. We headed straight to the bar since it was open seating. It took 20 minutes before anyone greeted us, and we didn't get silverware until 30 minutes in. We even had to grab our own menus from the front.

When we ordered, I got a strawberry lemonade, and my dad ordered a non-alcoholic beer. I received my drink, but my dad’s beer didn’t arrive. The server’s response was, "We’re looking for your beer." What does that even mean? Do they have it or is it lost?

When the beer finally came, along with the food, the server just slid the beer across the table as they walked by—no apology for the delay, no greeting, nothing.

To top it off, there were kids standing on the tables, screaming and running around, which is incredibly unsanitary. A staff member should have stepped in.

When we spoke to the manager about our server, their response was dismissive and nonchalant.

The whole experience was uncomfortable, and I won’t be returning to this Bothell location.

Please note we understand restaurants get very busy but this was just unprofessional and lazy behavior.
