Generally I like Taco Bell. Their food is the same across almost all of the Taco Bell franchises. This Taco Bell in Boulder City is included in the previous statement. However, today the Taco Bell in Boulder City failed to impress. I should have figured out from the moment my party walked in there was going to be a delay. Here is how this trip evolved: Walked over to Taco Bell from the Nevada State Railroad Museum (great place, check it out), walked in the Taco Bell and stood at the counter for no less than seven minutes awaiting a cashier to take our order. During this wait at least four more parties arrived and we're in line awaiting their orders to be taken. Once our order was taken, we found a table (which looked as if it hadn't received a wipe down in a few customers but was at minimum clean enough to use). Then we waited, and waited some more, then a party who had been in the Taco Bell longer then us was called up for their meal (a good estimation would be at least twenty-five minutes of the other party waiting on their order). Eventually, after our own twenty-one minute wait, our order was called. Food was typical Taco Bell fashion, almost everything was prepared as one would expect, with one exception. One of the taco supremes had enough lettuce in it to actually call it a salad and a layer of meat at the bottom, even a vegetarian wouldn't be bothered eating. I understand being busy and short-handed, I even understand getting behind on orders. A simple "hey it is going to take a few extra minutes," stated at the register and I would have been okay. I easily could have written this as a two star review (it actually started as a two star but the look of compassion and sorry from the manager bumped it up a star). My only take away from this experience is don't go to the Taco Bell in Boulder City on weekends during the lunch rush when they are short staffed (but how will I know if they are short staffed? Walk-in and if you have a wait at the register over three minutes, they are probably...
Read moreDisappointed. There's one location that I order from, 1600 Nevada Hwy, Boulder City, NV. I order online and pickup at window. ALWAYS HOT. This time I drove up to the window and ordered (07/17/2025). As we're approaching the window, the employee hands us my order. I thought, wow, that's what I call service. As we're heading home, I grab the bag and notice it wasn't hot. I took out my crunch wrap supreme and it was cold. OK, some of you might think "chill baddah, puttem in da microwave". To that I say "ufa kefe." Any establishment that sells their products hot or cold should be HOT or COLD.
Critique: * for handing me their product that was sitting around for at least 45-60 minutes. Food - the crunch wrap supreme contents and the tortilla shell all tasted stale. Service - it was more of "a slide of the hand" technique. It's difficult for me to believe that the employee didn't know that it was FRESH. Atmosphere - because it was a drive-thru, the atmosphere was the transition between the employee passing a product of Taco Bell to a customer with knowledge of not meeting the standards of the company who...
Read moreThe people that work here are disrespectful, lazy, children! I gave this place three separate chances, hoping it was just a bad day on their part, but after tonight; I will never go to this toco bell ever again! This time I pulled up to the drive through at 10:50, waited for the monitor to greet me and take my order. Since their back door was open, I watched as a young lady passed by the door multiple times looking right at me. By 11pm I finally got impatient especially since a line had formed behind me, and honked my horn to get their attention. The guy waved his hand at me and yelled “we are closed” despite the open sign still being on. They purposely ignore me until it was time to close. This has been the third time they have been rude and disrespectful to me and the first two times they also messed up my order. This place is horrible! I would have been more understanding if they had at least acknowledged me and told me the first time they saw me that they were closed. If they had at least done that, I would have let the fact that they were not actually closed, cause it...
