I can't gush enough about this Native Owned jewelry shop with a deeply talented Native Silversmith. We had the good fortune to stop by before a flight out of Vegas and it may have been the best decision of our trip.

Dee and Erick are incredible. Erick is a marvelously talented silversmith and his wares will take your breath away. As if that wasn't enough, Dee and Erick curate a collection of Native art from myriad tribes and artisans. The jewelry is true art and would make a great gift for anyone...including yourself :)

Dee is Navajo and passionate to share more about the Navajo. She was kind enough to teach us about the history of the jewelry, the magnificent weavings, and the inspirational sand art. Dee shared the stories of the art, the meanings of the components, and how she uses them to connect more deeply with this beautiful world. She showed us how the pieces were crafted and even demonstrated some of the techniques.

I'd found this place the night before as we were visiting the area and my hubs needed a Mother's Day gift.

I'd seen some of Erick's pieces that I felt like I could only dream about owning.

Well the dream only lasted moments and at the end of it I had decided on a resale vintage necklace and a pair of pearl and Golden Hill turquoise earrings he had recently made.

I started gathering Turquoise a few years ago,and would stop in to many a place ,and see what they have to offer. I never knew quite what I was looking for until one day I was able to stop into N8tive arts. The caliber of the examples of each stone coupled with the top tier silver work here are just top shelf. Eric's work for me , has become the standard for Native artistry by which I decide to choose a piece. If the establishment is not near, or on parr with this family's work, or gallery.
