Update after 7 months from original review: I reached out to the owner as he requested (even though I never asked for compensation) & he never even replied. His response to my review is clearly for publicity purposes & not actually wanting to improve on his business. The Arapahoe location is still unpleasant & unreliable. Online ordering is still impossible because items are listed as "out of stock" more consistently than not when they almost never actually are. It's really their loss on those online orders, I suppose. š¤·š¼āāļø Shout out to their Longmont Hover location for excelling despite having such disappointing upper management to rely on. Always a delight even though my visits are rare.šš» š
Original Review: Ordering online ahead of time only works if you keep your online inventory up to date. Every time I go to put in a pick-up order at this location, it shows that all of the food options are "low stock" or mostly "out if stock". If I decide to go in anyways on my lunch break they usually have most of the things that are listed as "out of stock". One time I placed a pick-up order (& I was even later than scheduled time to pick it up) it wasn't made & when I went up to the counter there was no apology or acknowledgement at all really & just added my drink to the queue. I spent my entire lunch break waiting for my order of one drink & no food. This location also isn't the most consistent with their specialty drinks.. Granted you're a coffee shop and not at IT outfit, but I have always been able to get on-line in the past. The attitude of the barristers on both occasions was unhelpful and disappointing. A customer told me she had had a similar problem recently that required resetting of the modem to rectify. I mentioned this to one of the barristers, who showed no inclination to take any action. A very small thing in the scheme of things, but since I always need access to the Internet when I stop for coffee, I will not be returning. My friend was asked if she paid and she said yes and was even willing to pay again. The barista then rolled their eyes at her and scoffed. Same with my sister when she tried to pay. I usually understand if people are having a bad day but to be blatantly rude is unacceptable. We will unfortunately not be going back to this location. Hopefully they will learn better customer service skills for the sake of other customers. We even tipped! Really was hoping for a better experience when I tried to take my friends somewhere new.
