Snarf's Sandwiches — Restaurant in Boulder

Wow. Wow. Wow. Okay, I am in my late 30's and have traveled and eaten all over the country. I moved to Colorado 6 months ago, and have been frustrated with the lack of truly unique and quality foods - for a reasonable price (it's expensive here in Colorado!!!). I read some reviews about Snarf's and decided to give them a try, despite being concerned about getting my food in time to get back to work. I AM SO GOING BACK TO THIS PLACE!!! The staff was working so hard (it was very busy) and were SO friendly. Despite the number of orders they were slammed with, I was walking out w my food in less than 10 minutes. I ordered a Roast Beef and Provolone with Parmesan dressing, and tried their special the Cuban. The roast beef sandwich was VERY good. But that CUBAN IS HEAVENLY!!! Found out my co-workers go to Snarfs at least once a week, and got a variety of suggestions of sandwiches to try, mostly the French Dip. The bread is so tasty and they don't use cheap, generic toppings. This is a place that you definitely need to check out! And a side note: I absolutely loved the diversity of their staff, too. I have so much respect for managers and businesses who embrace employees of all walks of life and appearances. if I could give this place more...

I have been a looooong time customer of snarfs and had many delicious ventures here. It is with deep regret that I write this review. My typical snarf experiences were so incredible- the food was amazing. However, lately the staff has been.... Well less than lack luster we will say. The food hasn't been cooked, and the salads have been made with old lettuce and undercooked meat and soggy eggs. I have since asked that my sandwich be extra toasted as it's been undercooked lately... But then I open what I hope is this phenomenal sandwich and it's a complete sloppy disappointment. Dear snarfs, what happened??? I used to come here every week, but I will no longer be coming to this location until this staff issue is fixed. I drive from Thornton for these sandwiches... But until this staff is replaced with competent and caring employees, I will just drive to their other better location... So sad guys!! I mean... Snarf happens- but if you get bad employees... Shi* happens!!! Try their pearl location- better employees and thus better quality sandwiches. agh I am so sad I had to...

So ordered three sandwiches total for my family. My sandwich (the super club, no ham extra turkey instead) was good. Everyone else’s…not good. They put two pieces of bacon on the entire Blt. And my son’s grilled cheese half of it didn’t have any cheese. The guys working there seemed annoyed to take the order. They didn’t put any toppings on anyone’s sandwich, or ask at the counter. Supposedly they all come with the generic toppings unless you specify. But we received nothing. If not for my sandwich turning out decent I’d give one star. I also have to say they seemed very understaffed. Two young guys working when there are inside traffic, DoorDash, online orders…every table inside was dirty because these guys literally don’t have the time to clean. The floors were trashed. Management should not be expecting two teenagers to run an entire store on what is a very busy Sunday.
