My daughter and I were trying to find a brunch restaurant on 3 Aug 2025 and discovered this one via Google search. And since I've never visited the infamous Pearl Street area, we thought this would be a good time to do so, after we get some much-needed sustenance prior to walking around. We arrived a little later in the afternoon so when we walked in, it wasn't too crowded...which was a good thing because I wanted to have a quiet(er) Dad-Daughter time. We were greeted nicely by the hostess on shift (I didn't catch her name but kudos to the one working that position on the day we arrived ~2:30 pm).
The service here was impeccable...provided initially by the hostess, all the way to our primary server, Gladelfa. In fact, speaking of Gladelfa, she was outstanding! She was highly attentive, professional, and extremely friendly - all quality traits! The restaurant's décor was nice which enabled a warm, yet vibrant feeling during our dining experience. The tables and chairs were adequate; they were comfortable enough and I had enough elbow room while eating. Yes, I have been to restaurants where the tables were so tiny that I struggled with moving things around, including my arms.
We ordered the Egg White Garden Harvest Omelet with Hash Browns (instead of the Parmesan-Dressed Greens), Strawberry Shortcake Pancakes, side of Bacon, side of the Polidori Sausage Links, Strawberry Lavender Lemonade, and Coffee. The omelet and pancakes were divine, and the hash browns were perfect (I loved the presentation). The bacon and sausage were adequate; the bacon could've been cooked longer in my opinion, but it was still scrumptious...and I can honestly say that I've had better sausage. I took a sip of my daughter's mocktail and it was refreshing...which was surprising because I'm not a lemonade kind of guy. And finally, the coffee was splendid (roast and temperature).
Overall, I loved my initial visit here as depicted in my 5-star rating. The price-to-quantity/quality ratio was superb and I highly respect this business for their support to the men and women of the Armed Forces, including its Veterans - thank you for that! I know that my former self would've grumbled with the quantity because I've been to restaurants that serve massive amounts of food and that was my go-to type of restaurants; however, as I got older, I realized how much food us Americans eat and let's just say this restaurant does it right. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll be sure to stop in because this restaurant was something else! I know my daughter will most likely stop in again since she's attending CU Boulder. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone! Note: I recently noticed we have this restaurant in my home city of Las Vegas so I'll have to go check it...
Read moreI recently had the privilege of dining at Snooze A.M. Eatery in Boulder, Colorado, and I must express that it was a thoroughly delightful experience from initiation to conclusion. The establishment's inviting ambiance and the affable staff immediately conferred a sense of hospitality, setting the stage for an exemplary culinary venture. The gastronomic offerings, both in terms of food and beverages, proved to be truly exceptional.
Opting for the biscuits and gravy accompanied by a scrambled egg, I was treated to a dish that resonated with nostalgia and offered a profound sense of comfort. The impeccably flaky and buttery texture of the biscuits harmonized seamlessly with the rich and savory flavor profile of the accompanying gravy, creating a culinary masterpiece that was evidently crafted with meticulous care, resulting in a symphony of delightful flavors with every indulgent bite.
A noteworthy addition to the culinary ensemble was the house-made bread and butter pickles, whose tangy and crisp attributes provided a delightful counterpoint to the main dish. This nuanced touch underscored the establishment's commitment to detail and dedication to delivering a gastronomic experience of unparalleled quality.
In addition to the culinary delights, my choice of a non-spicy morning margarita proved to be a stellar selection. The blend of flavors exhibited a refreshing and invigorating quality, rendering it an ideal morning libation. The expertly prepared espresso, characterized by a robust and bold profile, met and surpassed my coffee expectations. The addition of a shot of gin provided a tasteful and innovative twist, showcasing the consummate creativity and expertise of the establishment's bartenders.
The service at Snooze A.M. Eatery was nothing short of exemplary. The staff demonstrated attentiveness, a profound knowledge of their offerings, and an authentic passion for their craft. Their commitment to ensuring my needs were met and providing insightful recommendations enhanced the overall dining experience.
In summation, my sojourn at Snooze A.M. Eatery was truly exceptional. The confluence of delectable cuisine, inventive libations, and gracious service coalesced to form a dining experience that will be etched in my memory. Read moreI had visited Snooze on Colorado Blvd in Denver once before (months ago) with a friend. We got seated fairly quickly and the staff during that time was very friendly and helpful. During that visit I ordered the lox egg benedict and several different pancakes. The taste of it all was delicious and have been wanting to go there again.
Yesterday I decided to share the delicious experience with my daughter. We arrived at 10am and it was packed. Although we were hungry and it was a 35 to 45 minute wait time, we decided to stay as we didn't have anything else planned for the morning. Then, I noticed that the two women that arrived 15 minutes after us got seated first at a small table. At this point I was getting upset as we had arrived first. I'm not sure how the seating works at this place, but it's unbelievable that the two of us waited longer but got seated after these other two women. When we were finally called to be seated, the staff member was unpleasant and she offered us the two seats at the breakfast bar near the front entrance. I don't mind the breakfast bar, but wanted a table so that my daughter and I would be able to talk with less surrounding noise. I asked for a small table and was rudely told it would be another 10 minute wait. I was about to mention the other two women getting seated first, but at that moment a small table in the back opened up for us (ironically next to the two women). My daughter and I did enjoy our delicious breakfasts. However, I'm most likely NOT going back to the Colorado Blvd location due to the unpleasantness and poor attitude of the front staff yesterday, and the seating times being very inconsistent compared to the other great breakfast places.
Breakfast meals are great, but front staff needs re-training on customer service and seating times should be more consistent with arriving parties. Overall,...
