While on my lunch break. I waited in line with 3 cars ahead of me for 15 minutes to get to the intercom. Instantly got hit with "Whatever you're saying I'm not listening to you." from the drive through intercom. Following this, I tried explaining how I had made an online order & Pre-purchased my meal. This was followed with "We're short staffed, I don't care what you're saying. WAIT." So annoyed I drove up to the window. in which a middle aged brown haired woman instantly told me the wrong order price, so I tried explain how I did an online order. This without hesitation triggered her to tell me to go back around & wait in line again, Me (Being on my Lunch-Break) said I'm not waiting in that line again. I explained I could show her my payment & my order. She wasn't having it and closed the window on me. So I decided I'd wait for her to open it again so I could again explain I've already paid & they should have my order, because I wasn't going back into that 30 minute line again. When she opened the window she said "Move or I'm calling the cops" & I said "go ahead & call them!" She proceeded to call the police on me, in which they came. I explained my situation to the police officers, in which they went in & spoke with the workers. After a few minutes the officer came out with a bag of food which was "My order" which was not even close to my order. Furthermore upon inspecting the food, They drenched it with sauce. Couldn't tell but possibly looked like spit in there as well. Either way the food was ruined. This was downright the worst experience i've ever had with fast food. A lot has happened in the years since COVID made this particular branch fall apart. It had a long period of stagnation where it was closed all the time, understaffed, and the few staff that WERE on were either infamously rude and hard to work with, inexperienced, or would quit within a week.
But the good news is... that seems to have changed. I wish I could remember the name of the fellow that made sure to tell me how hard he was working on the place... He was ridiculously kind. And you can tell his staff are very happy to be working under him.
We ended up chatting a bit at the drive-thru since my order takes a bit. Ended up telling him how horrible this location was for a while, which made me sad because this USED to be my favorite location. Not only did he help me order something that used to be on the menu that is now considered "off menu", but he gave my mother and I free slushies -- he said he felt terrible for all the stuff we went through and that he hopes we'd continue coming.
A few things in the order were wrong and we ended up having to come back another day, hence one star gone. But the thing is, they were even cool about that. Gave me two tacos for the trouble, especially after I mentioned the manager's name that had helped us.
Please, visit this Taco Bell again! I notice people are starting to frequent it more -- so hopefully this gets the word out that this place has...
Read moreThis was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a Taco Bell. My order wasn’t ready for over an hour, and when I asked about it, staff told me it was “drive-through only” something I was never informed of when I placed it. Instead of apologizing or helping, they threatened to kick me out and even said they would call the police. There is one very respectful man working at the front and he told me he was uncomfortable by the managers remarks, and that he would get us our food promptly, but told me that unfortunately, there was nothing he could do and if I didn’t go through the drive-through after waiting an hour when I didn’t have my car with me because I walked there he would have to kick me out and call the police on me.
When I went back through the drive-through as instructed, I asked for the manager’s name. The manager, Kaiden, specifically told me that he was the one in charge but that he wasn’t “comfortable” sharing anyone else’s name. This left me feeling disrespected and shocked.
No customer should be treated this way. I hope corporate or the franchise owner addresses this issue so others don’t have the...
