Beef 'O' Brady's — Restaurant in Bourbonnais

There are minimal options here in Bourbonnais, but as far as sports bar type places go....choose the other options. We found in their drinks menu a happy hour option...so we ordered from that menu. To start the listed prices aren't what's advertised, so friendly reminder always check your bills. For an app we got the chips and queso. The chips and the queso were virtually flavorless. The only perk was that it was warm. For main courses, I got the boneless hot wings- which had a nice crunch but we're mostly just breading- and my husband got the blackened shrimp tacos. These were rough. They were missing the sauce and cheese and for the price two of those looked sad. He also got the curly fries which looked like they'd bought them from the store and barely air fried them like I do at home. For drinks, again, their menu wasn't correct so the beer my husband wanted wasn't available and my BASIC margarita was really not good. We won't be returning. The only positive was the waitstaff was nice, while not very well acquainted...

So many things went wrong on this visit. I ordered fiah and chips as its the friday special. I got a side of brocoli and i replaced the fries with a side salad.

The bartender did not greet me when i sat at the bar, just handed me a menu and went away. The restaurant was not busy. She did not offer any napkins or silverware anytime during the meal. The fish pieces were way too small. The brocoli was very hard, difficult to chew, and flavorless as well. The side salad was not chopped. There were several 4x6inch pieces of lettuce in there covered by way too much cheese. So all of the food was bad. The bartender forgot the fish and chips was on special and initially charged me full price. Bartender also charged me full price for the side salad even though i swapped it with the fries. So i was robbed of my french fries.

A TV at the bar was playing infomercials the whole time i was there. This place is a joke. I recommend going to one of the 10 other real restaurants in kankakee county,...

Ordered a Philly cheese steak sandwich for take out. Fries were a little cold but I kind of expect that because of the time in the drive. That being said the fries were still really good and flavorful. Can't think of many times that I enjoyed cold fries in my life so I'm sure they're ten times better when you eat them there. The sandwich was also super flavorful and the bread was really soft. Alot of places rely on the cheese and onions to flavor a Philly cheese steak but not this place. I read some of the other bad reviews and it looks like a lot of people just bent out of shape over personal feelings but in my opinion the food is really good especially for the Kankakee area where there's not many good options.i also tried my husband's traditional wings which again we're really impressive especially compared to the food options...
