We went for the first time on Saturday around noon. It was pretty busy, but just a 30 min wait for a table. So, we waited because we thought there was so much to look at. Well, the few games were taken by kids and it didn’t take long to look at the place. Nice seating area to wait though, so no big deal. We could’ve eaten outside or at the bar but chose to wait inside. The GhostBusters were outside so that was cool. It took what seemed like FOREVER to get the food, but it was busy so whatever. The very nice waitress that looked like she belonged on Beetlejuice apologized for the wait and got our drink refills. The prices seemed slightly high for burgers and fries, but not outrageous. Just about average. I got the Kevin Bacon Jam burger and fries. Onion Rings or loaded fries were $2 more and we didn’t want to spend the extra. Sodas are $2.50 so that isn’t too bad. The burger was pretty darn good, needed more bacon jam in my opinion. Hubby got The Breakfast Club and he loved it but said it was too small. The fries were pretty good but he liked those more than I did. Some seemed chewy. I liked the crunchy ones. I think they should add more 80s stuff, add more neon if possible, turn on the light sabers, and add some Mac and cheese to the menu. Ooo and some more arcade games for more people to play. Maybe a TV or screen showing old movies….It would be cool if the staff had 80s stuff on too, but understandable that it could be too much to ask. I think some 80s music was playing, just couldn’t hear it over the talking. Which just means the place is popular, so no complaints there! Overall, we will be back but it may be awhile. We like to try new places.

Atomic Kitchen in BGKY is hands down one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Bowling Green. From the moment we walked in, the energy and retro vibe of the place set the mood perfectly, bright, fun, and welcoming. It feels like a spot where you can come in, relax, and just enjoy yourself. I ordered the Thurmanator, and wow… it was a showstopper. Big, bold, and packed with flavor in every bite. The meat was cooked perfectly, the toppings were fresh and balanced, and the whole thing came together in a way that makes it one of the most memorable meals I’ve had in town. It’s the kind of sandwich that’s messy in the best possible way. the kind that makes you glad you ordered it and proud to finish it. What really took the experience over the top, though, was our waitress. She was absolutely fantastic. Super attentive without ever feeling overbearing, always quick with refills, and genuinely friendly in a way that made us feel taken care of. It’s rare to find service that leaves as much of an impression as the food, but she really made the night even better. Between the unique atmosphere, the unforgettable food, and the amazing service, Atomic Kitchen is a place I’d recommend to absolutely anyone. If you’re in Bowling Green and want a meal that hits all the right notes delicious, fun, and memorable you need to try it. And if you’re feeling hungry, the Thurmanator is a must.

Restaurant is really cute and clean. We loved the outdoor seating. It was easy to find parking close by but you do have to park and walk if this is an issue for you. It was the perfect day for eating outside at a picnic table - nice breeze and no humidity whatsoever. No bothersome flies until almost finished eating. Waitress Ashley was very attentive. The food was pretty good although I don’t know if we will return or not. We ordered the Three Amigos appetizer. It was basically just thin fries and three sauces. The sauces were good. The fries were fries. We also ordered the Big Red burger. It’s a single patty. It was good but it is realllly thin. If the triple is 3 of those then it might be the size of a normal burger. So if you go don’t be afraid to order a double or a triple if you are wanting to try a burger. I don’t remember how much more they are in price, probably not that much higher. We also ordered a Clubber Lang Knockout chicken sandwich. It is their Nashville Hot version. If you like reallly hot - it’s not HOT. If you like some heat then you will probably be happy. It was really tasty and cooked just right. We both ordered onion rings and they were also verrry good. I think the portion of the sandwiches is what would keep me from returning. But who knows we may give it another try. I would definitely recommend trying it to see for yourself.

My husband, mother-in-law, toddler and I went in for opening weekend. So, first, we EXPECTED a wait. That wasn't a big deal at all. My husband and I have gone to many openings and we consider ourselves very patient people.

45 minute wait to get to our seat. No biggie. Expected. The hostess was delightful and very friendly. (45 min) Once seated, took another thirty minutes for the wait staffer to attend to us—ask about drinks, give is the menu, etc. That was a little longer than what we expected. (30 mins) Another 15 to 20 minute wait for our wait staffer to take our orders—they didn't use anything to record our order. Which for how busy and hectic it was, was a little concerning. (15-20 mins) Took about 20 minutes before our wait staffer asked if we needed anything—we still never received silverware or our drinks. So she went back and fifteen minutes later we received our drinks and not the silverware. (20-35 mins)

At this point our wait staffer had checked on us once and we were at 130 minutes of the entire experience.

Another twenty minutes, we noticed two tables that came in after us had received their food, and we still hadn't received ours. (20 mins)

I spoke to the hostess and she went to find someone. That someone (a blonde woman) came out and said our food would be ready in ten minutes.

Twenty minutes later our food came out and it wasnt even correct—and we still never received our silverware. (20 mins)

Now, I am going to add that my mother-in-law is diabetic. So, while she was incredibly cranky for waiting nearly three hours for food—the wait didn't necessarily bother my husband or I even with our toddler. With that said, what got me was the severely lacking customer service. I am 35, I have been working since I was 11, and working in customer service since 17. It is one thing for a customer to wait, it’s another thing for them to wait without apology or acknowledgement (the one time the wait staffer checked in, and the blond woman who just stated matter-of-factly the timing of our food—neither apologized and otherwise there was no acknowledgement of the wait). We still paid full price for our food (which, as I said, was incorrect—probably because our wait staffer didnt record the order within the chaos), lack of utensils, and long wait time.

Since we came in the second day, we do plan on going again—just my husband and I because given the food and the vibe, we really want it to do well, but we truly hope that the customer...

We tried to eat dinner here tonight. We were told there was a 45-50 minute wait. After 45 minutes we came in and checked and were told there was one group of 4 in front of us. After about 15 minutes we went back in to check and found that our name had been marked off the list. When I asked, the hostess told me she'd called three times. I had no missed calls. She read my phone number back to me and she had the number wrong. She never apologized, just looked annoyed and told us we would be seated next. When a different woman came to sit us at our table I said, "Hey, I just want to let you know that the hostess had our phone number wrong and instead of stepping outside to call our name she just marked us off the list." She turned to me and very rudely told me she was up there with her and that the hostess had called 3 times and she went outside and called our name. We were sitting right outside the door. No one came outside. As I am telling her this she shushed me multiple times and tried to talk over me. When I told her she wasn't going to shush me, she told me I wasn't going to speak to her that way and that she would get her manager. The manager, I will say, was professional. She apologized and explained that the woman who had shushed me was the OWNER'S WIFE! I truly couldn't believe it. The entire time the manager is speaking to us the owner's wife is walking around setting up other tables near us and laughing and smirking. We decided that anyone who would treat their husband's customers and his business that way didn't deserve our money and left. We will never...
