D.P. Dough — Restaurant in Bowling Green

This was my first time ordering and my last. We were told a 15 to 20 minute wait time (which we were ok with) for an in store order, which resulted in almost an hour wait and cold food. There were 3 people waiting for food after I paid and left, my husband, my 5 year old, and another customer. Our orders got mixed up because the girl working the counter called out the order not by order number or customer name, but by calzone name. Our food left the building with the other customer for at least 10 to 15 minutes. This was much longer than just walking out and realizing it was the wrong order. My husband continued to wait patiently, and kept telling the girl no when she asked "is this your order?". By this time it's been double our wait time and now the 5 year old is hangry and impatient. When the people with our food show up to get the correct order, they are given their bag and my husband is given the bag they brought back. No apology, no offer to remake the food, no care about where it had been, just here you go. My husband took the bag and left because of the 5 year old not able to wait any longer. The customer service in this situation was pretty much nonexistent. I came excited to try the food because it was recommended by so many people, and ended up incredibly disappointed, especially when there are SO many other pizza places in BG that would have given...

I would never go back. First time I was there I asked for a recommendation from the staff. The lady suggested the Philly cheese steak so I decided to give it a try. The bread was SO soggy and it came with marinara sauce witch I thought was odd but I tried it anyways. I was right....it was odd.

I decided to give it a second chance and this time I looked over the menu more thoroughly. I got the "TOT BOX" - a half calzone with an order of the tots. Again, it was a box of disappointment. The calzone was okay but the marinara sauce was HORRIBLE. It was so bland and tasted like it came straight from the can. The tots reminded me of my high school days eating those nasty tots they served that were bland and over cooked.

All in all, I would never return. DP Dough got $12.00 from me between the two orders and that was $12...

I've never had a complaint about this place till recently, but I've always picked up my food. My car is in the shop right now, and it's raining and I wanted to order food more my son and I so I ordered delivery. It was supposed to be here an hour ago. I called literslly heard someone answer and put me on hold and the woman who answered was very rude and cut me off mid sentence when I was asking about my order status. She said the delivery person was out with it and it should he here shortly....20 more minutes ago...still nothing. We have to be up very early in th4 morning. I am highly dissatisfied and will NEVER order delivery from here again...I would have gotten my food faster by braving the rain and walking...
