I originally had ordered chili cheese fries and some other items. I opened up the chili cheese fries and put ketchup on them and then sat down on the couch and realized oh there’s no chili on here. So I called the establishment and they had another order sent to me. When the delivery driver came back to give me the new order, he opened up the previous box as they wanted it back, which was fine. He opened it, and literally was trying to debate with me and said that he found one bean. There was absolutely no chili on my fries or anywhere in that box. See pictures. But the mere fact that I told them that my family does so much business with them that it would literally be an embarrassment if I were to lie about something so stupid. my other food was getting cold at this point so that’s another inconvenience of me having to wait for my correct order. But the delivery driver wanted to challenge me on my porch and his words were “I can’t take these back. My boss will have my ass.” So I proceeded to call up there and speak to the manager. The fact that I am a customer and I was challenged like as if I was lying about something when I’m literally giving you back the incorrect order for you to view yourself is just beyond me. Being home sick with influenza A and your taking the order back into your establishment is unsafe and diabolical. This was all caught on my porch camera as well. Only thing I can say is that your workers need to read their tickets better because it says chili.cheese. fry. that’s three ingredients in one box. Do better Mr. spots and do better at training your crew. I will not be ordering from Mr. spots any longer. I hope you don’t contaminate your food establishment and pray no one else gets sick from this senseless act...
Read moreHaven't been to Mr. Spots in ages; not since it was across from the Unique Boutique 20 years ago. Used to be one of my favorite road trips from Findlay. So, I was looking forward to revisiting the taste of my youth when a friend asked me. Even made decision to cheat on my Keto diet for a delicious steak hoagie. So, I ordered directly after my friend, who had ordered 2 combos (had another buddy who hit the bathroom) for dine-in. Ordered a double steak hoagie and small drink, refusing the combo (the bread was already plenty of carbs). Paid the 18 dollars and change with cash. Didn't throw anything into the tip bucket. Usually tip accordingly AFTER being serviced (ringing my order up isn't exactly a thing I'll tip you for). We got our drinks and sat down. Friends get their 2 meals in the usual 5-10 minutes saying mine would be right out. At least another 10 minutes later I receive mine. I had no more than half the meat as my buddy, who also ordered a double. So...this guy decided to delay my order and skimp on my double meat (which I paid 4 dollars extra for) because I didn't tip him. Woofed it down in 2 minutes (I was starved) and was still hungry...after eating a 16 dollar sandwich. Granted, it was still as good as I remember. I pretty much felt like he stole 4 bucks and 10 (unnecessary) minutes from me. Sucks that I'll never visit them again due to one guy's sense of entitlement for gratuity. Typically I'll throw a couple bucks in the bucket at places like this when I throw away my trash. Not today. Huge ripoff! Tipping culture is getting...
Read moreI had to lower my rating from5 stars to 3. The food is still really good, and the service/atmosphere is solid, but the prices are just getting insane here. I bought a 12 oz boneless and a side of fries, and it cost me more than $22 with the $1.00 tip I left. I can't agree with paying this much for someone to cook my food. I can get chicken breasts for 3.99 a lb (sometimes even way cheaper), and a 5 lb bag of potatoes for $5. For around $5, I could have 16 oz of chunks (4 oz more), and take one of those $.50 potatoes out of my 5 lb bag, and have a meal just as good. Plus, I can get an entire bottle of ranch for about $.30 more than what they charge for a side of it.
I'm sorry guys, I have to be honest in my reviews. I really want to see your business succeed, but I can't justify paying over $20 for the amount of food I get here.
Should also note that they pass the card processing fee on to the consumer, which I fully support for small business' to do, but it does seem like much your bill has already climbed so high.
Hopefully they can find a way to adjust the prices to be more reasonable, my daughter and I love to eat here after we go disc golfing or skateboarding. Its definitely her favorite place in...
