Slim Chickens — Restaurant in Bowling Green

My wife one of the internet delivery apps and I go out with her sometimes and help her just to move things along a little quicker. It's a delivery business. Drivers wash there hands as often as possible and theres also a bottle of hand santatizer but a drivers hand are not clean enough for anything about preparing the customers food or drink. Arriving at the store the girl behind the counter is just standing there and they young girl is doing all the running and the other one says there to busy for them to fix drinks well I refused the order and left and before I can get out of the parking lot this employee is outside smoking.I would never order anything from this restaurant or will my wife deliver from there. There's no telling what your food has been tthrough. It's hard to find employees these days. Good ones,it's impossible.

06/04/2024 Hello, I left a review on this store about a year ago and it wasn't good. No point in going into that now. I hadn't been in that store in awhile but I decided to run a delivery out of there again. I have to give credit when it's due, and I think it was the same girl that waited on me when I wrote the other. But the place has done a complete 180 from the last time I was in there. The place looked better. They was doing some business and was very organized and professional. Everybody has a bad day sometime, it just happens, but I would definitely recommend this place to people for service wise and their dasher friendly to. For sure a different place, for the better.

Let me start by saying my problem with this restaurant is not the food. The food is great and I love the honey mustard sauce and the cheesecake dessert. No, the food is not the reason I’m leaving this place a negative review. The reason for the negative review is for the level of service at this location. I have ordered delivery from this place multiple times and they always, ALWAYS get something wrong about the order. I usually order the Slim Salad with a sweet tea and a strawberry cheesecake dessert. The first time I ordered it they brought the salad and the cheesecake but brought me an UNsweet tea. The second time, they brought the sweet tea but forgot the straw. The third time, they forgot the drink altogether. The fourth time, I decided to order the Hungry Meal because I was hungry. They brought another unsweet tea, forgot the straw and brought the Oreo cheesecake instead of the strawberry I had ordered. The fifth time, they just dropped the order altogether. The one and only time they got the order right is when I went there in person. So I guess this restaurant just hates people who order delivery. In any case, I’m frustrated enough at the poor level of service I’ve received from this place that I’m just not going to give them any more of my business. So a warning to all. The food here is good. So last night I went to Slim Chickens for the first time, and I ordered a slims meal. I ended up being charged for 2 6 piece wing meals and was given a single chicken sandwich. I went back through the drive through they voided the charge, gave me the correct food and I went on my way. Decided to give them a second chance today. I ordered a club chicken sandwich meal no lettuce no tomato. My sandwich came with lettuce and tomato on it which I didn’t mind to pick off, but it showed me they can’t get an order right. A few bites into my sandwich I felt something tear and upon further inspection found what appears to be parchment paper in my sandwich. I get new restaurants come with hiccups but with both of these experiences happening so close together I’m not sure if that excuse is applicable here.
