My original review(s) are still 100%+ positive. Tonight, I need to add kudos to Cristina, our server today. AMAZING. Of all the servers I've had at Toro (and it is my absolute FAVORITE restaurant in Kentucky (not just in Bowling Green)), Cristina is THE BEST. Ask for her. She is wonderful. Gives you every piece of information you need to make the best selections. She is everything you want in the perfect server, believe me - and I'm not easy to please. Toro is the best! Bowling Green is lucky to have Toro and Toro is lucky to have Cristina! ASK FOR HER! You won't be disappointed!

I would give 10 stars if it were an option!

Toro is THE BEST Bowling Green has, trust me.

Toro has it all; ambiance, food, drinks, service...........TORO HAS IT ALL. Toro is BY FAR the best restaurant in Bowling Green!!! I would recommend Toro to anyone and everyone - whether you're from Bowling Green or some metropolitan area, you will not be disappointed.

We opted for several tapas and every one of them was top notch. Our server was Nina; also top notch. Very knowledgeable about the menu, the specials, etc. Attentive; just the best.

There isn't a single thing I would change about our experience and Toro will be my go to restaurant of choice in Bowling Green from this point forward.

IT IS THE BEST OF...

My husband and I went for a date night and thoroughly enjoyed Toro! We started with the Street Corn Fritters, which were absolutely amazing and I can not say enough about them. You must try them!! For his entree, my husband chose the Brisket Burrito which was a very large burrito. He did say it had a bit too much brisket to make it ideal for him but he still enjoyed it! The atmosphere was lively with music and conversation. Weel3nd night here makes it ideal for a first date because the noise will leave no awkward silences. We will return.

We've gone again for a day date and we're very pleased with our experience. Excellent quiet brunch in the bartender's area. She was friendly and hospitable, offering excellent suggestions upon our request. We decided on a few tapas and the Chorizo burger. Delicious Ceviche Tostada and Uca Fries! The bartender made an excellent virgin Piña colada. And I ended our meal with a Mango Crème Brûlée which blew my mind. It was delicious!! Do yourself a favor and try Toro. Been attracted and interested by several good opinions which I read here on Google Maps, and that's why eventually I decided to visit this restaurant. Really nice looking spot with a nice interior and atmosphere, even though it was still early Sunday afternoon and there were a few customers only. Pretty short menu, which I really like, but it didn't help me make a choice! 😅 But I made up my mind and had a Peruvian style 🇵🇪 chicken ("Pollo a La Brasa"). And must frankly say it was a very good call. Chicken was tender, well seasoned, server with baked potatoes and a salad on a side. 🥗🥔🍗 It's been also served with a bit spicy sauce, which includes some ground coriander and jalapeño. It fits perfectly to this chicken. All was incredibly tasty and a portion was very fine. I was really full and happy with what I had.🔥👌🏻 Even though it was my first ever visit here, definitely it wasn't my last one.
