The Groovy Gus Donut Bus — Restaurant in Bowling Green

I was super hungry and saw this place tucked into a strip mall so I had to stop. I'm glad I did! Turns out Gus is the groovy squirrel.

Pros: The owner, Steve, was very welcoming and friendly. He was interested in getting to know me as a new BG resident and offered recommendations for a couple of places in town. Decor was awesome. I really liked the Toy Story characters above the kitchen area and the squirrel art wall. Donuts were made to order! Steve's favorite, the blueberry cream, turned out to be our favorite as well. He uses apples from a local orchard for the apple flavors and offers the local dairy farm, Cheney's, milk.

First time I went it was with my 2 other sisters and the people in their were all so kind and accommodating, the food was delicious we all got different items and everyone was happy with what we got, the second time I went it was my birthday and I got a free box of donuts I went with my fiance and for her first time she loved the location and the man who made our donuts was so kind and full of energy, i recomend this place to anyone who is looking for a cool spin on donuts or even savory foods like chicken salad...

A must Stop anytime. My first time staying in Bowling Green. Local hotel had breakfast but wanted something local. Great choice! MOM and POP business newer start up! Kid’s of all ages will enjoy.
