Rather than write a bad review for inedible onion rings (I think they were refried), I decided I would stop in and let the manager know. I never indicated that it had to be a face-to-face conversation. (I am a 70 yo retired professional female who expects good food and decent service. And, I’m NOT a picky eater.) Today I went through the drive thru and nicely asked to speak to a manager. I was told to pull into a stall and, then, let them know where I was. I did so and was told the manager would be right out. After 10 minutes, I called again to nicely remind them that I was waiting for the manager. I was told they were busy, but she would come out soon. After 10 more minutes, I pulled through the drive thru lane and told them I was waiting there until I could speak to the manager. They said I couldn’t do that and I assured them that I wasn’t moving until I spoke to a manager. (I apologized and explained the situation to 3 different customers that pulled up behind me. They all said they understood.) Finally the manager, Erica, came out and started yelling at me. She still did not bother to ask me why I wanted to talk to her. She said that she had called her boss who was on the way. (Erica had brought 2 male employees with her, I think, to intimidate me. It didn’t work.) When her boss arrived, I explained the situation to her. She offered me a free meal and apology. I declined the meal. I will not go to this Scottsville Rd...
Read moreI usually try to find the good in all restaurants because it takes a lot to make a bad meal. I hadn't gone to this Sonic in a couple years and now I remember why. The servers were great. Young high schoolers smiling, thanking me for stopping by, have a nice day. The drinks are what you pay for: sugar with a hint of water and fizz, but that was to be expected, as that has always been the drinks, would actually like some drink with my ice next time. My meal, out of 3 that were bought for 31 dollars, was rubbish. My kids whose pallet is less refined.. one said they had regrets about the meal choice and was sorry for the suggestion, the other eats anything and was meh about it. Most of the options were also out, so I got the super cheeseburger or something like that with two large patties. It looked good but had zero taste, and that's hard for a burger. All of the tater tots were cooked to oblivion and inedible, which is also hard to do. The footlong hotdog, only because they were out of 6in hotdogs, was lifeless and the regular cheeseburger well, again less refined pallet. So maybe the servers were the problem or maybe it's just Sonic. Im not sure, but I will not be trying to find out...
Read moreThe server was rude. Ordered 5 regular ice waters, one with lemon, and two ice cups. A chili cheese tot and 3 cheese sticks with ranch. She came over handed me my first drink carrier with an attitude, came back and gave the second and I mentioned the issue with the waters (6 lemon waters). I would’ve taken the wrong waters, but a couple of the friends would not drink them, so I told her. She rolled her eyes and took them back. I checked the food, no ranch and she took off with the receipt. I asked for the 3 ranch and my receipt. She came back with the receipt and said her manager would have to charge for the ranch. Only 1 ranch showed up on the receipt somehow, fine, but if I bought 3 and 1 ranch was free with 1 cheese stick then I don’t understand why I had to buy the other two. I gave her a dollar, she returned with a dime, so she didn’t give me the free ranch in my order I had to repurchase it. Worst Sonic I’ve ever been to! I see why it’s 1.5 stars on Maps. The cheese sticks weren’t even hot by the time I got to my destination (4 minutes), and I didn’t even bother...
