I believe I ordered the grilled chicken, with lettuce and onions only. I have allergies to the mustard, anything with tomatoes in it, ketchup (spices), & pickles (also the spices in the process of making the pickles). I usually do not eat the bun. I recently found out that I am allergic to yeast. That takes care of eliminating most bread, rolls, etc. I believe I got the lemonade to drink, then the ice tea. This may be the night that my simple chicken sandwich was absconded by my neighbor because Wendy's had put ketchup on the other sandwich with the "everything but ketchup!” So that STUCK me with complaining about the sandwich made wrong because he started eating mine right away, very quickly. They were very kind to replace my order for the sandwich rather than his order. I think we had arrived during that last hour the dining room is open, so it was approaching toward the end of the day. In spite of all of that, the workers remained pleasant. The guy who needed to clean around the drinks did ask me if I was done with the tea. I did want the unsweetened tea in a while. He also was kind enough to accommodate my future desire. As soon as I had gotten my tea, I let him know that I was done. It is physically chilly inside the restaurant, most times. What surprised me this night was how cozy warm it was between the two entry doors. I have never felt it that...
Read moreThis incident happened last October but I have not forgotten about it for the simple fact that Wendy's Corporation has not responded. I had ordered a single cheeseburger from the drive thru, and had brought it home to eat. I was really hungry so I was eating perhaps a little faster than usual. I was just getting ready to swallow a bite that I had chewed when I felt something on the back of my tongue that felt hard and did not feel like food. I had to cough up the bite because I came very close to swallowing it. What I found was a plastic tie used most likely for bun bags (see picture). I called the Bowling Green Wendy's immediately at least 3 or 4 separate times but no one would answer. I looked up the corporate connection to report a complaint and did so. Twice. Never received a response. I wasn't out to get any free food or anything like that. I wanted to make sure they knew about it, acknowledged it, and did something to try and prevent it from happening again so that no one chokes to death like I came close to doing. I was also going to keep this between Wendy's corporate and myself, but not even responding has me wanting to put this incident on as many social media's...
Read moreHaving recently moved to Bowling Green Ohio, I am still learning the area. I recently stopped into The Wendy's on Main Street. The person who waited on me was very professional, however I was informed that the monitor which had the prices for the meals was burned out and has been for months. So I had to resort to this card, which had no prices and small print to order.
The food came out in a timely manner and was prepared to expectations. The single burger, baked potato, and chicken sandwich were fine. The Fries were soggy and didn't have much taste to them. The Soda pop machine almost had too many choices and the touch screen menu was a bit clunky. I opted for coke zero and it came out just fine.
So bottom line, food was decent. The fries were a letdown though. The restaurant needs some TLC, it seems a deep clean is in order as the dining area looked neglected and please get a new TV screen so everyone can see what they want to order, no excuse for that.
Overall ok but didn't set my...
