We would always take our family members here when they came down to visit... last weekend was horrible here. My husband and I came here for lunch since we were close by, when we sat down it was not busy inside at all. The waitress took our order, a couple people came in after us and sat down at tables... about an hour went by and we started noticing other tables getting their food and actually leaving (which they came in after us). To be honest, all we ordered was oysters and a hamburger. We waited another 30 minutes after the hour of waiting — finally we flagged our waitress down because she never came to check on us or refill our waters... and she insisted our food would be right out. We waited another 15-20 minutes and the waitress stated “the hamburgers take a long time to cook”. Seriously??! Almost 2 hours later, our food comes out. My husbands food was warm and my hamburger seemed super burnt. I told the waitress that we saw several tables come in after us and leave before we even got our food. “She stated yes, they asked me to rush their food because they had a plane to catch.” Oh, and also the hamburger takes a long time to cook! All I could do is laugh. Long story short, the manager comes by, and she does not care one bit. The waitress brings the check and says yeah I got my manager to take .20% of the oysters. Which only came out to 2.00 bucks.. “BUT IT WAS THE HAMBURGERS FAULT WHY IT WAS TAKING SO LONG “ my husband and I were in so much disbelief. Like this whole experience was ridiculous. Worst customer service ever. Will no longer be back...

I recently dined at Hurricane Ally, hoping for a satisfying seafood experience. Unfortunately, my visit was underwhelming.

The service was notably slow, which set a negative tone for the evening. The waitstaff seemed stretched thin, resulting in delayed responses and a lack of attentiveness.

The quality was inconsistent, with some oysters not tasting fresh. This inconsistency made it difficult to enjoy the dish fully.

The seafood bisque was a bright spot in the meal, with a rich and flavorful broth that stood out compared to the other offerings.

The Oyster Rockefeller were disappointing. Like the zone oysters, the freshness was an issue, and the dish lacked any distinguishing flavors or elements.

The Catch of the Day - Swordfish Wrap with Coleslaw was mediocre. The swordfish lacked seasoning, and the coleslaw did little to elevate the dish.

Fish and Chips was one of the better items, with the fish fried to a nice crispness. It was enjoyable, though not exceptional.

The Sangria & Bloody Mary, both drinks failed to impress. The sangria lacked the refreshing, fruity flavors expected, and the Bloody Mary was overly simple and lacked the punch one would hope for.

Overall, Hurricane Ally left much to be desired. While the seafood bisque and fish and chips were highlights, the rest of the meal fell short, particularly due to the inconsistent freshness of the oysters and lackluster drink offerings. With slow service and mediocre food, it's hard to recommend...

Went to hurricane alley for lunch with my wife the other day. Walked thru the front and was never greeted...stood for a few minutes and finally walked up to the bar and asked one of the staff members if we should just sit anywhere. She just looked at my like I had three heads. So we sat in the smaller dining area off to the right of entrance since there were other patrons over there eating. It took 20 minutes for someone to finally come greet us and ask if anyone was helping us. She asked if we wanted some drinks, we said sure. We both just ordered a soda. Well, now another 15 minutes goes by, no drinks... no waitress... I walk back up to the bar and asked if they had anyone working the tables over there and the bartender assured me that they'd send someone over. Another 15 minutes passes and nothing. Finally, I go over to another waitress at another section (outside waitress) and asked her if we could possibly get some food and drinks. She said and I quote, "I'll be right in to take your order". Another 15 minutes go by, nothing...so we left. I will NEVER set foot in this establishment again, nor will I ever refer anyone to this business... I'll actually tell them DON'T GO. It seems, if you're not a regular there with friends that work there... this restaurant staff could care less about you. If I could give a negative star, I would. This place is...

My husband and I were ready to enjoy a nice lunch at this so called “Pet Friendly” resteraunt . They were absolutely disgusting. They said we could not sit at a four table outside because it was just the two of us. We settled for inside seating where they complained about us holding pup on lap and sitting her on the chair. They said she could only be on the floor. We left immediately and went across the street to Butcher Bar who is truely dog friendly! ***update- incorrect response! It was a small corner table for 4 outside with other dogs which doesn’t make sense that two people couldn’t sit there. And yes I absolutely did because she denied us an outdoor table that could’ve avoided the whole altercation. Just admit your staff is rude , not accommodating and probably racist (I’m black , my husband white) hence why we were told we can not have the 4 seat table outside.***

After going to Ocean Front Park, we looked on Google Maps for a place to eat, and Hurricane Alley Alley looked good. It was a weekday at about 4PM and it was busy. Hurricane has tables outside, a large great looking bar that was full and a back room that’s not as loud as the bar room. The back room was perfect for the three of us. The bar area is loud. We started with the conch fritters as an appetizer. They are the best conch fritters I’ve had in a long time. My mother had a Soft shelled crab sandwich. My wife has a California grilled chicken sandwich. I had a blackened mahi mahi sandwich. All of the portions were large and the quality was outstanding. The service was great. Our server stopped by just the right amount of time to check on us. If you are in the area this is a great place to stop for a delicious meal at a good price.
