While in Boynton Beach, FL, I was looking for a good Thai Joint. Personally, I've noticed a lot of Thai restaurants in the area also, serve Japanese sushi and bento boxes. The island style themed restaurant was cute, the one thing I noticed was the premade food in a display case. The only other time I've seen this is in Little Tokyo Los Angeles, Ca. All the restaurants have a display case facing outside so the customers can decided if they want to eat at that specific restaurant. The flavor of all the dishes we ordered was authentic, everything came out fresh and hot but, I was surprised by the portion size. We were a party of 3 and ordered three items and an appetizer, we ate everything which is very rare because the portions are usually larger but not in this case. It should also be noted, if you have kids that do not eat Thai food and you wanted bring in something for them such as Mc Donald's they are very strict as we overheard a family behind us that was asked to leave, the mother said, "My kids don't eat Thai food but my husband and I want to eat here." I get it, but its business for them and no one was in the restaurant, what was the problem here? Ordered Egg Rolls - The veggie rolls came out piping hot with a fragrance of ginger which paired well with the sauce, typical sweet and spicy ma ploy. Pad Thai - The Pad Thai had great flavor and good amount of chicken. Pad Se Eew - Had beautiful Wok hay (which is originally a Cantonese phrase used to describe a essence or aroma that is created in a dish when authentic stir-frying is performed) it's a slight char on the crust of the noodle if stir-fried correctly. Traditionally the dish uses Chinese broccoli but, in this case, it was served using regular broccoli. Fried Rice - The combo fried rice had great flavor but again the protein was lacking with only 1 shrimp it was a bit of a disappointment.

Following my cousin's enthusiastic recommendation, my friends and I ventured to Sabai Thai & Sushi in Boynton Beach to uncover this hidden gem. The moment we walked in, the cozy and charming ambiance immediately struck me. My eyes wandered to a fascinating gong in the restaurant's center, adding a unique touch to the decor. We were promptly greeted and seated, and our server came by to take our drink orders. I opted for the Thai iced tea, a personal favorite, while my friends chose lemonade, iced tea, and another Thai iced tea. As we settled in, we perused the menu and made our selections. I decided on the Tom Yum Mho Fai Talay, while my friends went for chicken and beef fried rice, chicken pad Thai, and green curry. We also ordered edamame and crab rangoon as appetizers. When the food arrived, the enticing aromas wafted through the air, promising a delicious meal ahead. We wasted no time diving in, savoring each bite. My Tom Yum Mho Fai Talay was bursting with flavor, and the spice level was just right for my taste. However, the standout dish of the evening was undoubtedly my friend's green curry. The perfect balance of spice that gently kicked in at the back of the throat left us all in awe. Its rich and vibrant flavors were truly impressive, sparking conversation and praise around the table. Sabai Thai & Sushi lived up to its hidden gem status, offering a delightful dining experience that I would eagerly repeat. Whether you're dining solo, on a date, or with family, this charming spot comes highly recommended. The combination of a welcoming atmosphere, attentive service, and outstanding food ensures that Sabai Thai & Sushi is a place worth returning to time and time again.

I just ate there tonight. Ok first off, the nicest people. Perhaps reviewers who complain about service were never waiters themselves. I grew up in Stowe, Vermont, a ski town, was a waiter and ski/boot technician. I learned early that waiting on rich spoiled men is the worst. And serving to Joe Public isn't easy. IIf you know anything about Eastern cultures, where English isn't their primary language you know they are often humble and quiet, unassuming. Something perhaps Mr. 4 star review Ricky Hollywoodz doesn't get. I see his fake name and utterly egotistical profile pic, it tells me all i need to know. A man with a walker came in, she helped him get in the door and even stowed his walker for him. Everyone was extremely helpful and even the chef came out saw me looking around at the beautiful inside and he asked me if I needed help as I was just looking back at the register/wait station. Just the opposite experience of what Ricky Ego Holly fake name says. The food was awesome. Checked on us multiple times. I am 63 and eaten more Thai than RickyEgo has seen in his life. It's top quality. We had fresh home made hot and sour, and the Cashew chicken stir fry was some of the best sauce i ever had. Also had spider role, was good too, stayed together. I often get it and it's so hot it makes the roll fall apart. Only leftover was some sauce from the cashew chicken so I poured it over the rice we had left to take home to eat later. Was very very good. Perfectly seasoned. I also had thai ice tea and that was good, maybe more cream than i would use. Sorry I forgot to take photos until after I half ate everything because well, it tasted so good. I highly recommend Sabai Thai & Sushi.

One and done. Take-out. Our usual Thai place is closed on Sundays and I was yearning for Tom Kah soup. Could be because my son just returned from a full month retreat in Thailand sending pictures of every scrumptious morsel he ate. anyway, this was nearby, menu sounded interesting. Ordered on the app. 2 Tom Kah soup, $14.00, 1 Pineapple rice with Chicken and Shrimp. $25.00. That seemed rather high, but I figured it would be a great portion for two with the Soup. Ordered Level 2 out of 5 for spice level. We live in Delray but our go to Thai place is in LW, so we were in the area. Paid on app, tipped on app. Arrived, food was ready in time and headed home. Opened that bag ready to savor my soul saving Tom Kah soup. There were 2, 1 cup servings in a small container. 8 oz each. So, I called... sure it was a misunderstanding. Nopers. I was informed that was the only size they offered. Not starting on the best foot here. I said "how unfortunate" and ended the conversation. All this before I tasted it. Ok... I'm not a chef. I have however had over a dozen styles from various Thai places. I have preferences. This was, by far the most unflavored white coconut milk with a few shreds of chicken, a tomato chunk and #4 HEAT. No galangal, red curry, lemongrass, cilantro, green onions .... nothing. Honestly 8 oz was more than enough. Unedible, I fished the chicken shreds out and tossed the rest out. Now, main dish. It certainly had promise. It was pretty in a pineapple shell. Interesting mix for flavors, cashews, raisins and pineapple chunks... If they hadn't KILLED it with red pepper. #2 folks, not #4!!! I like heat. This was unbearable. Add that there were only 4 medium sized shrimp in a $25.00 dish of rice. I lost my appetite and my spirit was broken. I surrender. Expensive light dinner for 2, but lesson learned. Hard pass... and reminder to not have Thai on Sunday. Maybe it's a religious thing as Thailand is a very holy place. I really have no idea, but I'll respect that and do any other place Monday...

This place is pretty good, we found ourselves eating here often during the quarantine because the food was well prepared and somewhat reasonable priced. We would spend money getting lunch and dinner there for the next day when we ordered but today will be my last day ordering. I always spend about 80$ or more here about every week. This was the spot!! However, they really made a huge stink about giving me spicy mayo after ordering over 100$ worth of food most of that sushi rolls... They didn't want to give me any sauce for free! seriously why wouldn't it just come with sauces instead I was argued with and finally they said they would give me two spicy mayo after I ordered 5 rolls. It was just the principal that I have been ordering and supporting this business during quarantine and spending a good deal of my money weekly on getting meals from here but they were nickeling and diming the entire time. I just don't get why you would lose such business over .50cent sauces. It doesn't make any sense to me if I have been a good customer that I couldn't get 1 sauce for each roll. It's not that spicy mayo is Soo expensive you are losing money by not charging for it. I've had many sushi places where the sauces are included. Anyhow today is the last time I visit because of this. Also they were sooooo cheap if I wanted soy sauce they would take something else out of tht bag they already prepared for me and replace the soy sauce with the items I did want. I mean this is getting ridiculous, they would take out spoons and forks from the bag if you asked for chops sticks and because of this I'm just done. Like come on there is still a quarantine going on and it's not like the lady wore gloves to do...
