Public Storage — Local services in Greenacres

I would've given this location an amazing review , unfortunately it cannot be so. I paid my unit in full AND contacted the property manager Stephanie regarding this matter and had to leave a VM , no response back. Another authorized user came in and showed Danielle the confirmation and my balance that stated $0.00 . She told me that since I used my bank account information it processes as a check . I READ the Terms and Conditions when I accepted that form of payment; NOWHERE does it state that it takes 7-10 business days. If my account states $0.00 and I don't owe WHY AM I NOT ALLOWED TO RETRIEVE MY PROPERTY. On the terms and conditions it states "Payments entered on our system before 2:00 p.m. Pacific Time will be scheduled and processed on the same business day. For all entries made using the service, the time is recorded on our computer controls. Payments entered on a weekend or after 2:00 p.m. Pacific Time on a regular PS business day will be processed on the next PS business day." Then Danielle tells me that she contacted her District Manger and is waiting to hear back. I asked her to have him contact me as well.She then proceeds to tell me per her company policies her District Manager CANNOT contact me ! Excuse me ??? Your supervisor CANNOT speak with me regarding this matter that I need handled??? I'm not sure what kind of business this is but as a manger myself , I handle ALL my customers complaints and get back to them ASAP. DEFINITELY...

In the era of big industrial impersonal storage facilities, one facility stands out as being uniquely different. That is the Public Storage on Hypoluxo and Military and this is due to the excellence of one person that is the manager there. He name is Val and she brings a warm, personal, caring touch into the experience. Time and time again she demonstrates the attributes of professionalism, effficiency and real passion for helping people and caring about their needs. She genuinely enjoys her job and it shows in everything she does. From finding the perfect unit for you to going the extra mile to accommodate, Val is a superstar of self storage. She even stayed late once , waiting for me, to come in and pay the bill, which would’ve had late fees if another day passed. That is the personal side she shows to the customers, but I don’t recommend waiting till the last moment like this! I am so happy with the service I get here, I’m going to move my other unit I rent somewhere else to this facility, which, by the way, is also superior to all others, in that all units are drive up. There are a few inside, but most are straight drive up access! This makes it hugely convenient. Clean grounds, well lit and excellent rates, combined with a person like Val in the office and you’ve got a five star operation ! I highly recommend this place. This Public Storage location raised my rates by almost 25% after only 5 months claiming that my rent was lower than the average units. They are the ones that set the price in the first place. I specifically asked the manager of this facility if they raise the rent before one year because I had a bad experience of this happening at another Public Storage location and she told me they don't.

After my rent was raised, I contacted the manager Patricia and she was very nice and tried to get my rent lowered but had no success. Then Patricia tried to get me in contact with the district manager Jeannie Schwartz but she refused to take my calls and refused to lower my rent back to the original price.
