I came into this bar expecting hospitality. What I didn’t expect was to be subtly silenced not for being loud, not for being disruptive, but for simply speaking the name Jesus Christ.
Let’s be clear: I wasn’t yelling. I wasn’t disturbing anyone. I was having a calm conversation about faith, about hope, and about the One who changed my life. But apparently, in this establishment, that is unacceptable.
The energy shifted the moment I mentioned Jesus. I was met with uncomfortable glances, passive-aggressive interruptions, and ultimately an indirect suggestion that “maybe this isn’t the place for that.”
And they were right it’s not the place for Christ.
If you want overpriced drinks and a spiritless atmosphere that bristles at the name above all names, this is your place. But if you're someone who walks in the light, speaks truth, and isn't ashamed of the gospel you might want to walk right past this bar and shake the dust off your feet.

We started with the crab cakes and they were the best crab cakes we’ve ever had. Everything was so fresh. The arugula salad it sat on was dressed perfectly. We ate every last thing on our plate. Then we ordered the steak poutine. The steak was seasoned and cooked perfectly. The poutine had a very nice crunch and was so delicious.
