The Mixer Cafe — Restaurant in Boynton Beach

First time going to this little place, it's out of the way for sure but worth the visit. There was a unique freshness to the food provided today. We often get breakfast at places like IHOP and its typically the run of the mill type of food. That wasn't the case today and it really drives home the point to "take a risk" on those little restaurants. Everything was very fresh and the portion sizes filled you up halfway through the meal. I had the pancakes eggs and bacon and took an apple pastry home for later. The pancakes are huge, they are the size of the plate they're served on. I don't remember the name of the danish but it was delicious, in my opinion the quality is slightly better than Publix bakery I'm terms of freshness.

Finally - You definitely want to take your time to explore the menu and I encourage you to venture outside your comfort zone. In order to do that you have to come back from multiple visits to truly experience their menu here.

Café Prélude is a wonderful place and I am so happy that I just have to walk across to pick up one of the great pastries that the café offers. I also tried various quiches and they were delicious. And then there is the red velvet cookie - to die for! It's a family owned business and everyone always greats you with a friendly smile. I was craving a crepe and found this cute cafe and decided to try them out. All i can say is they have a new customer for life. I had the triple crepe with stawberries, bananas and nutella. I was amazed with the presentationand the best service ever. Louis was very polite and friendly. Background music was relaxing. The hazelnut vanilla latte was also delicious.
