Edit to my first review: I waited to write this review because I wanted a cool head to write. Gave this place a second chance, and everything was much better service wise, even when packed. Here’s the kicker… when I first pulled in, the parking lot was packed full; it’s a tiny lot so if you live close by it’s better to just uber. Me and the others I was with, were going to wait until someone pulled out and take their spot. The third party security they hired told us it was okay to park in the good year parking lot next door. Okay, not something that’s usually allowed so I doubled down and asked “are you sure that’s allowed? His reply “yes I’m sure, the manager of the Goodyear is here drinking tonight and said it’s okay.” Hmmm. So I did, and parked there. Two hours later we leave and guess what..CAR ISN’T THERE. CAR WAS TOWED. But not only my car, it was 3 other people who said the same thing!!!! WHAT SCAM ARE YOU RUNNING HERE!!!? It cost us $150 to get the car out! And guess how far the tow yard was, probably about 300 yards away, literally walking distance. Very fishy!!!! When we confronted the manager on duty all he said was to come back in then morning and to get it sorted. But no promises that we will get any refund but maybe a store credit?! I don’t want to come back to this dump!! And my other guests were out of town visitors. Oh and not a single apology from anyone. Then the manager of the security team told us he came over the speaker 3 times to tell people to move their car. Now you’re just lying on top of everything. I started to get heated, and now banned for making a scene. Not like I ever want to come back anyway. That was not right of me, but can you blame me? I also wanted others in the restaurant to be aware of what scam that was going on in this place whether it’s the Goodyear manager and third party security team, the towing guy or is everyone from Bungalow in on it? Who knows. All I know is beware of whatever is going on here. Honestly save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere. Wow, how disappointing. Especially with how many great reviews there are for this place. I was so excited to check out the new spot, especially because it’s dog friendly! Came in on a Friday night and sat at the bar closest to the entrance. Seemingly okay and atmosphere was inviting and fun with the live-band setting up. First off encounter was with the bartender. I ordered burgers and chips&salsa from the bar. Nearly 10-15min go by, and I see people who came in after us received their food order before us; I politely ask him if the chips&salsa are ready could you please bring out before burgers. His response: “yeah, I know, I put them in to come out first, I’ve been doing this for 15 years.” Okay, odd response. Second strike, when the chips&salsa finally came out, THEY WERE TOSTITOS!! BOTH THE SALSA AND CHIPS! I cannot believe they charged me $9 for jarred salsa. On the menu it said “pico de gallo” not a single pico was in front of us. Burgers were okay. Third strike was the bartenders in the front bar were ripping shots and drinks out in the open while I’m trying to get service. Not a good look for a place that just opened in November. I’ve been in the industry and know bartenders can get rowdy but usually it’s with regulars or here and there. We were only there an hour and we saw one of them shotgun a beer! What!?! Crazy town. Also side note, I think the bartender from the beginning of this post felt our negative energy from us and gave us a free green tea shot (he said leftover from when he made a round) and it was disgusting! How do you mess up a green tea shot!? I would have rather just not of had it to be honest. Free or not. 15 years in the industry and can’t make a decent green tea shot. Hmm. Interesting. Attached are the salsa and chips. Yuck!

So today I decided to try brunch at Bungalow, which has had pretty decent reviews. Unfortunately, my experience didn’t quite match the hype. Let’s start with the positives: the vibe was amazing. It’s an outdoor venue, the weather was perfect, and they have Jenga and Connect Four, which I loved. As someone who enjoys playing games while dining, that was a fun touch. Now for the not-so-great part. We ordered chips and salsa to start — nothing fancy, just Tostitos and store-bought salsa, but I wasn’t expecting much. What stood out was the service. The chips came out with no plates, so I asked our server (who never introduced himself, but had locs) for some. He brought over a stack of napkins instead, and it took another 15 minutes before we got plates. After waiting quite a while, my boyfriend actually had to flag the server down to take our main order. When the food finally arrived, two out of three plates were wrong. My burger was supposed to come with cheddar cheese (as listed on the menu), but it showed up with American instead. I didn’t complain — mistakes happen — but it was another miss. We ordered several drinks throughout the meal — two bottomless mimosas and a few Miller Lites, plus some lemon drop shots. Everything was fine until the bill came… and it was around $245. My boyfriend almost just paid it, but thankfully he checked first. Turns out, the server charged us per round of mimosas, even though we specifically ordered the bottomless option and pointed to it on the menu. When we questioned it, the server actually said, “Well, you ordered multiple rounds.” I had to ask if “bottomless” meant something different here. He went to “talk to someone,” but instead of a manager, we got a food truck employee who said the manager wasn’t there but would “take our info.” He called it an “honest mistake,” but honestly, it felt like a lack of training and oversight. To make matters worse, on our way out we noticed other tables with full champagne bottles — something we never received — which really highlighted the inconsistency. I’m not saying don’t go — the atmosphere really is great, and maybe we just had bad luck with our server. But for us, the poor service and the billing confusion turned what could’ve been a great brunch into a frustrating experience. Hopefully, management addresses the training gaps soon, because the place itself has real potential.

I came here for the first time today with my mom and her boyfriend, I was super excited to try a new place. They opened at 12 and we had a reservation for 12:15. It wasnt super crowded at open just 2 large groups and some people at the bar. Our server was a male with dreads (didnt catch his name as he never gave it) . He took our drink orders, my mom and I got bottomless mimosas and her boyfriend got Miller Lite. With our drinks we also got chips and salsa. When the chips and salsa came out he kind of Disappeared and we had to find him to ask for plates and napkins, He bought the napkins right away but then took about five minutes to bring plates. Mind you we were his only table. Chips and salsa 6/10 both The chips and the salsa were both definitely Tostitos and the chips were a little stale but no biggie. We had to track him down again to get refills on our bottomless mimosas and another miller lite , we just ordered our food along with that since we had trouble finding him. We all got burgers and we all got DIFFERENT burgers. Once they came he didnt know which one was which and just seemed to no care and kinda had the attitide of “you guys figure it out”. We ended up figuring it out after having to pick two of the burgers apart basically. Burgers were ok. My smash burger wasnt “smashed” just two regular patties on a burger. 5/10 on the burger. Fries were good and crispy 8/10. Had to find him once again to put in another drink order. Since we did order bottomless mimosas I would kind of expect him to be on top of us each time the cups were empty but that was not the case. We played giant jenga and then got the check. He said the bill was 248 . 248 is crazy. 3 people 2 bottomless mimosas some miller lites and a few food items. We questioned it and he said its because gratuity is added in. Still not making sense. We ask for a itemized copy. He charged us for SIX bottomless mimosas. When asked why he said cause we had 3 rounds…..??????? That’s not how bottomless mimosas work at all. That was the craziest thing ive ever heard. The manager wasnt there for whatever reason but someone else ended up taking it off. Not a horrible guy but he definetly needs more training for sure. Has potential to be great with the right training!
