We had high hopes when we were seated, as the owner seemed very proud of her husband’s cooking, and the fact that all of the recipes were passed down from his mother. Their menu specifies to be patient, because all of the food is being made fresh to order in the kitchen, as they do not serve frozen or quick meals. The food we received unfortunately did not reflect any of this. First to the table was cold store bought bread with a bowl of oil and butter packets. Second were the salads (iceberg, one quartered tomato, and three whole black olives). Calamari for an appetizer: no seasoning, bland tomato sauce, shaker parmesan cheese. And then the entrees came: the chicken Marsala was swimming in a gray soup that tasted like straight alcohol, garlic, and water. The pasta that came with it was extremely overcooked (with more tomato sauce), and the spaghetti and meatballs were dry, chewy, and had even more flavorless tomato sauce poured over the top. All of the pastas were store bought, the bread was store bought, the sauces had no flavor, the pastas were overcooked. None of the food that we received was authentic or fresh. After literally one bite we called the waitress over and told her that we were disappointed and would not be finishing our meals. She seemed un phased, and charged us the full $68 for all of the food that we left entirely uneaten at the table, no discount, no owner intervention, no substitutes offered, nothing. Unfortunately, I do not recommend this...
Read moreThis place is just amazing, the Atmosphere is very relaxed! I was there on opening day and even went back later that night to try something else. I've been back once a week since it opened so far and I just can't get enough! I've eaten at all sorts of amazing chain and smaller restaurants, by FAR this one is the BEST! The handmade sauces are all done by Randy, and Vicki is such a delight as Hostess! I highly recommend anything on the menu! I did get the Chicken Parm sub for lunch and have tried the Lobster Raviolis twice now that come with a Salad plus AMAZING bread, they are clearly the BEST I have had anywhere in my time eating on this planet! I have had lobster raviolis many different places and in big chains. The hand made sauces put this place Far above the rest! If I could I'd give it more than...
Read moreCute little place. No alcohol (yet), We ordered the fettuccini Alfredo with broccoli, the portion of fettuccini was huge, but it only had about 6 small pieces of broccoli with it. The alfredo sauce was delicious though!
Service was quick and the server seemed to be new, but did an ok job, however, we needed to ask for refills on our beverages. No water was offered or brought to the table though which is a pretty standard things at any other restaurant I've been to.
The pasta, tasted like it was from a box which is fine, but, being an "authentic Italian restaurant" and for the price, I would have expected it to be hand made. It was cooked perfectly.
The breaded artichokes were excellent and the homemade marinara was excellent.
Would I go...
