It's a great park if you can trust your dog of leash. It is one city block with huge trees and water access in the summertime. Pop bags and trashcans are readily available- PLEASE use them. Beware though of the seasons. If it is icy, slushy, soggy(ex-spring melt) in most areas around town, it will be there also. It can be a nice place to meet up with a fellow dog friend, make a new friend, or a place to take your dog if you're in town and need a place for your pup to release some energy for a few. Cooper is generally a very beautiful, friendly place to take your well adjusted pup for some exercise.
