I live out of town in an area that doesn’t have a place to get burritos. This has been a favorite spot for that reason so I keep going back. However this was my 3rd time giving Curbside pickup a chance and it failed me again. Maybe shame on me for giving it 3 tries??
I decided one more time today because I have a sleeping newborn and that seems like a very convenient option for someone like me. I am not lazy, I actually prefer to go inside. But sleeping newborn outweighs my step count.
First, I pulled up and the curbside parking spots were filled with cars that had no one inside. Ie: they were not using curbside pick up. Annoying. I found a spot close and not wanting to leave my baby or disturb him, I got out and walked to the window. Through the pick up window I got attitude and an eye roll from a woman who told me to come inside because they were busy. … but isn’t there a pick up window between us?? Isn’t that basically the same thing??
She came outside and greeted me and told me I need to call the store because they are busy. If that is the case, it should say a phone call may be required. If that is the case, don’t ask for my make/model of my car when I place my order. Make it clear that curbside pick up is only curbside pick up if the people inside want to make it that convenient. Otherwise you’ll get attitude and told to come inside.
Food is fine enough but for a sleep deprived new mom who made the decision to get lunch here for the convenience that was offered is going to hold a grudge after failures 3 times over.
And to be clear, a very similar thing happened the other 2 times. Each time I had a sleeping kid and didn’t want to disturb them to go inside. Both times I ended up inside picking up my order....
Read moreI have been eating at qdoba restaurants for YEARS in other states! This is one of the worst restaurants I’ve ever been to. The food tastes fine most times, it’s not about that! This restaurant must be poorly managed, as they are always out of something when I eat there. Usually it’s lettuce... we only eat the taco salad, due to a very restrictive diet... kind of hard without lettuce! They rarely have fresh fajita veggies, never thinking ahead of dinner rushes. Last night at 5:45pm they were out of steak. I had literally called ahead to make sure they had lettuce (because it’s that bad I have to call ahead) - didn’t know I needed to call about every ingredient now! When I made a comment about “wow, y’all seem to always be out of something when I’m in here” one of the cashiers made a snarky reply, “oh no, we just see you coming and put it all away!” I told him it was starting to feel like it!
In addition to poorly managed food and snarky service, the restaurant itself is usually pretty dirty. Over flowing trash cans, filthy soaking drink station, out of lids or specific cup sizes!
It’s ridiculous! I’ve tried contacting corporate, received a call from the manager, and after I returned his message - no call back... whatever, to be truthful, we probably just won’t come here any longer! It’s not worth driving all the way from Belgrade for dinner to realize you can’t even eat there most times, or get terrible service. Chipotle will get my business...
Read moreI was really craving chipotle, but after seeing the particularly horrendous reviews for the Bozeman Chipotle and how filthy the restaurant is and awful the portions are, I decided to head over to Qdoba, which admittedly, I had low expectations for. There was a long line, but the employees were fast, attentive, and focused. The portions were extremely generous. These guys were making bowls and burritos as if they themselves were going to be eating them (in the best way!). I usually order double meat at Chipotle because their spoons are so tiny and the portions leave much to be desired unless you ask for extra. I didn't see anyone in the long line at Qdoba have to ask for extra anything, because they portioned appropriately every time. I did get double meat anyways and it probably accounted for half my bowl (hell yeah!) I was also pleasantly surprised that their pickled jalapenos are made in house when I totally expected them to be from a can. Overall, the service was great, the employees were working hard (and hopefully are paid accordingly to avoid the Chipotle disasterbever occuring) , and the food was fresh and delicious as well as portioned super well (I got a bowl). I paid much less here for nearly twice the food I would've gotten at you know where. Highly recommend the new...
