We had a stand out experience at Sofra tonight. This is a unique and personal restaurant. The decor is beautiful and chic. The craft cocktails were wonderful. I had the red sangria. We all enjoyed our entrees immensely. They were double cut pork chops, spaghetti bolognese, red snapper with romanesco sauce, and branzino with truffle risotto. All the appetizers were very good, especially the octopus.

I can't eat milk or cream, so it was amazing they had squash soup made with coconut milk, and could make the risotto without cream upon request. Truffles can be overwhelming but in this case, they were not at all--the risotto was perfect.

Everything was so good, even those of us that don't normally order dessert did. We thoroughly enjoyed the panna cotta, white chocolate cake, and poached pear with mascarpone.

Sierra was a kind of waiter you rarely encounter. She appears to love what she is doing. She is also the manager and the mixologist! She was very focused on giving us the best experience possible.
