McDonald's — Restaurant in Bradley

So, there was no one else in the restaurant when I arrived. I ordered some chicken nuggets, fries, and a soda. I had my choice of any table in the place, but couldn't find a clean one. After I sat down, another customer came in and ordered. Then a third. While I waited for my food, I watched as they gave the 2nd customer's food to the third. Several minutes later (still waiting for my food), customer 3 brought the food back, and the employees gave it to the correct customer. At the same time, a customer from the drive through came in to complain that he had not gotten any food (I'm not sure how that could happen). A few minutes later when that was all resolved, I approached the counter to complain that I had still not received my food (12 minutes after I ordered). At the same time, customer 2 came back to complain about being served food that had initially been given to some one else, and asked them to remake her order. It was right around this point that one of the cashier's friends came in to hang out at the counter and chat. The employees were very apologetic about my wait, but I still waiting another 6 or 7 minutes for my food. While eating I observed the cashier leave her post to take a call on her cell phone. She didn't have good reception, so she left the restaurant looking for better signal. Also, another friend arrived to hang out. I couldn't say whether it was the same friend that was on the phone.

...and the soda machine was out of ice and the place looked a little run down.

2 stars because the fries were hot, though I waited 20...

Service was very good but manager was very unprofessional. Customer before me had an issue with her order, and was not at all nice about it. The girl at the window did the best she could to rectify the problem all the while getting yelled at not only by the customer but also the manager. That customer finally either got a refund or whatever she ordered and left. We got up to the window to a very sweet but obviously shaken young girl still getting screamed at by the manager. I heard her yelling with the windows shut...the manager just kept screaming is that how you're going to play it are you going to cry now and other very hurtful things. Another girl came to the window to help the first girl and the manager proceeded to yell at her too. The girl tried to hide how upset she was as handing me our food. I apologized for the rude customer before us and for all she was expected to put up with by the screaming manager and told her to try to have a good day. Don't think I'll be going back. I don't want to patronize an establishment that has so little regard for their employees. Not to mention the 3 young men out power washing the walkway with their music blasting and swearing at each other. Typically would have said something to the manager, but didn't want her to come out screaming and yelling at anyone else. So five stars for the girls at the window but nothing for the restaurant or manager. Just hope the 2 young ladies find a better place to work where they will be appreciated and...

I had lunch. My lunch consisted of 1 double cheeseburger(yummy), 1 medium sized french fries(double yummy), and water. The service was good. Some of the employees look like they are 12, it's nice to see them work, but I don't understand why there are so many people not working. Where does everybody get money not working? Then they complain because they can't go out cuz their place closed because of lack of help. The dining area was clean. I was there for approximately 19.3 minutes. I did not use the restroom, so I cannot comment on that. The drive thru was perdy busy too, so other people must like it too. I parked in the lot where there was a lack of litter, I like that a lot. I don't like to see litter. Litter is bad. I live in the country and people drive out here and dump their garbage on the side of the road. Sometimes it beer cans, sometimes TV's, sometimes a couch. Once in a while I find a McDonald's bag, but I know McDonald's didn't through it out there so I don't hold them liable. I think people should have more respect for the earth and other people. The 🌎 is not a garbage can. Thank you for allowing me to give my opinion, but I'm probably starting to ramble so I will stop...
