Nana's Bakery & Cakes — Restaurant in Bradley

This place has changed, I have ordered many beautiful cakes from them and always turned out better than the picture I provided. I ordered a baby shower cake and provided them with the picture asked for the colors to be the same and asked if they could do it since it was a bit complicated. They reassured me they could and charged me 136$ for it. I didn’t mind paying for it since it was essentially two cakes in one. A sheet cake and a smash cake to sit on top. When I went to pick up the cake it was not finished yet, stated they were short staffed and I waited for it. When it came out I was appalled. They offered to fix it and to come back in a half an hour. I didn’t have time it was late already. Honestly the only way to fix it would be to trash it and start over. All I could think of was the show Nailed it. They offered to give me 10% off. And agreed that the flowers were not correct. I will not go back, and urge you to look into other venues. My first cupcake from Nana's was at a friend's baby shower and it was love at first bite. I hired Nana's to make cupcakes for my wedding, and boy did they deliver! Using them for our wedding was the best decision! They made it easy with tastings, and it was also good we couldn't decide on just one so we had seven different flavors and all themed. They even created edible sculpted toppers for the his and hers cupcakes.

Our wedding was four years ago and whenever we want a sweet treat we still stop in to Nana's. Whether it's brownies or cookies or cupcakes they always have a great selection of delicious treats ready to go.

Once I bought 6 cupcakes for my husband as a surprise, and they flew off my back seat and 2 of them got ruined. I took them back to buy more, and the lady was so kind that she replaced them at no charge.

They're so kind and creative and easy to work with and on top of it all it tastes great!

Our current personal favorites cupcakes are the strawberry and the lemon raspberry....

My fiancé and I arrived 5 minutes before our SCHEDULED appointment for a cake tasting, only to be welcomed 10 minutes later and informed our appointment was not confirmed. I scheduled this tasting back in November 2023 because my partner and I have very conflicting schedules. Alicia then blamed this “miscommunication” on someone who was filling in for her around this time that was going through her emails. As this is understandable, she knew that person was sending emails they shouldn’t have and did not do the proactive due diligence in reviewing all incoming and sent emails during that time. After explaining that I had intended to have a tasting, not a conversation regarding design, she informed us that not all cake flavors were available for the appointment that was supposed to be today!
