TERRIBLE customer service, I called and ordered a pizza and a dinner. The woman who answered the phone (later to find out was the MANAGER) was quite quick to get off the phone with me. I said I needed to place a delivery, she said it was going to be an hour minimum wait and if I still wanted to order and I said that's fine, so I get one thing that they were kind of busy which is still no excuse for what I went through. I told her I needed a small pizza with pepperoni, mushrooms and onion. She barely let me get out the other two toppings because she was wanting to repeat it back so fast. Then she asked me what else, I said a lasagna dinner, asked me what else again and I said that will be it. She repeated the order back to me, a small pepperoni pizza with mushrooms and onion, and a lasagna dinner. The delivery man showed up 45 minutes later, I had a card to use which I knew they took cards because I've used one before. He told me I'm going to have to call back because they needed the card over the phone first. I called back, told the lady what I ordered and gave her my address. At first she tried to tell me to pay with cash but I didn't have any. She then must have rung it back up and used my card. I go back out side and the delivery man only had the pizza. Unfortunately I had to call back again and ask for a manager, they thankfully only charged me for the pizza but I told the manager she had repeated it back to me correctly, so why is it wrong? She was very, very rude. She basically accused me of lying about her repeating my order to me and said I did not order anything but a pizza because that is all that is on the receipt. I'm only upset because one, she repeated it back correctly to me and it was still wrong, then second, she didn't even bother to fix it for me. She didn't apologize for anything. I would've paid for my dinner even, but she was just so rude when I tried explaining what she did. I'm in my early 20s and have been in customer service for over 6 years. I don't care how busy you are, you do not act like that towards your customers. The food is great, the delivery man was nice, but the manager, she was awful. Sad, because this is a family owned business but I will not be eating there again until someone else takes that woman's place. We didn't have any problem before now so just take your chances when choosing delivery!

Update **

After being in the restaurant business for the last year or so I still think back to this moment. I sound like a total * and boy am I aware that customers are in fact wrong sometimes but I was trying to contribute to this business and buy more food..... I suppose the manager just didnt want to admit an order was wrong and instead she made the business look worse.

I understand people can suck & I hope who ever is in charge of this place now treats the ones (who have kept their doors open all this time) with a little more respect Employees...

Honestly I’m shocked at this restaurant that myself and family thought would be great. After a wonderful day at the beach we were hungry and wanted to enjoy some food. First the waitress asked if we were all on one check and we said no; after we said this the waitress said ok “well that sounds complicated, I will just put it on one check and you guys will figure it out”. We did not say anything to that, we just let that go. Then we received our food and did not enjoy the shrimp scampi and respectfully asked if this can be exchanged. The waitress made a big deal about it saying “this is how shrimp scampi tastes” assuming that we have never tasted shrimp scampi; however, we have many times and honestly just did not enjoy it. We were not trying to cause trouble, but no one is doing me a favor here, I am paying for this service. Then the manager came and said the same thing as the waitress, no apology and ultimately made my party feel badly about just having an opinion. We did get our food exchanged after sort of having to prove our case which wasn’t really what you want. I really had high hopes for this place and I don’t know what happened but the service overall just kind of kept going downhill and I cannot say that I will be coming back. I hope that others enjoy their experience here but I personally did not. I do not hold any bad wishes on this business, I just hope that they do better in the future.

Update: The waitress who was attending to us came out of the restaurant to take a break and speak to a family member/friend and said out loud “yea this table didn’t tip me out” again I feel this was very unprofessional. This waitress told us that when we went to pay at the front of the restaurant that the 18% tip would be included which honestly we didn’t feel was deserved by the establishment so did not feel the need to add onto that tip. She then told us that they did not include it as if that was our fault, this restaurant is not giving itemized receipts so there isn’t a way for me to know what’s included. I respectfully, again told this waitress that it is not personal. If this restaurant’s food was bad and the service was good I would’ve been more than happy to tip honestly. I will never blame a waitress for their manager’s attitude or the kitchen’s lack of competency. However, the entire encounter felt unprofessional and rude to be honest. Again, I want nothing more than a lesson to come from this review, I am not after anyone to get fired or a business to go down, I simply would like them to take a better...

I am giving this place 5 stars not because of how GREAT it was but because of how rude we were treated! Last year we went to eat here twice because of how amazing the food and service was. Today we returned with a group of family to the beach and decided to go eat there because of the experience we had. We walk in and were barely greeted, the waitress comes and asks for our drink orders, she comes back with the drinks and just randomly places them on both tables so we had to switch until everyone had their correct drink. (Which is fine I understand its hard to remember what everyone drinks) To make this loong story short she brings the check and tells us that they are usually suppose to add a 5% gratuity but she did not do that(we were still going to tip her). The waitress obviously did because the total did not match our total even with tax. My family and I go to the front to split the order, as we leave I left her a cash tip on the table because I was going to pay with a card and didnt want the percentage to be taken out, this way she recieves the entire tip. We split our orders up and none of the totals matched. I let her know and she “fixed it” at the end of it all the total amount of the ticket did not match the number we were given for all of us together, it ended up being less. As we leave our waitress comes out to bring a bag of beach toys my son forgot we said thank you and proceeded to leave. Another waitress with short black hair and black glasses comes yelling out the door “are you guys going to leave a tip or did you forget because she said y’all didnt leave one” I informed her “yes i left it on the table in cash” the waitress then tells me “well its not there” which is not my problem at the end of the day. At the end I told her its not an obligation to leave a tip if service was not good but we did anyways and her response was “then you should go eat at Mcdonalds next time.” Which we will probably do after this experience and will never come back to eat here. I hope no one has this...

We were looking for a pizza shop that makes Gluten Free pizza. I called first and asked and they said yes! They have a great gf pizza! Its a 12” round personal size. I was hopeful to have a good pizza and we went in for dinner. Im gluten free for 11 yrs and the struggle for gf food while traveling is Real! We walked in and were welcomed with all smiles. The server told us to pick any seat we would like. The interior of the restaurant is what you would expect. A italian/pizza style restaurant. Approx 15 booth style tables. Our server was super friendly and very knowledgeable about the gluten free menu items including the salad dressings! My husband ordered a medium pizza 1/2 pepperoni 1/2 sausage. I ordered the gf pizza half pepperoni. I have to say… of all of the places Ive eaten across the USA….THE GLUTEN FREE PIZZA WAS AMAZINGGGGG! I literally could not stop saying that with every bite I took! Lol I was sooo Happy!! I seriously want to order a gf pizza and have it FedEx to me!!! Sounds crazy right?? I know!! But it was SOOOOO GOOOD!!! The crust was just like a real non-gf pizza crust. It wasn’t the cardboard crust like most gf pizza’s are. If you are gluten free YOU HAVE TO GO HERE!!! You too will be so HAPPY!!! My husbands regular medium pizza came out larger than expected. Cooked perfectly and the crust was lightly crisped with just enough chewy-ness to make it an excellent pizza as well! Being from the NJ/NY area we’ve had our share of pizza! Oma’s Pizza and Italian Restaurant is by far a total WINNER!!! If you need gf or regular gluten-full…Please go here. You wont be disappointed! 😁❤️⭐️

Excellent place for delicious pizzas! Honestly, this restaurant was more Italian than Italy itself. And I mean this as a compliment! It’s a bit small, so it can fill up fairly quick. We were greeted immediately by the lady behind the counter. Lisa was our server and was extremely friendly. For starters, we had the house salad and a single antipasto salad. My antipasto was great, but a bit generous for a single serving. I suppose it’s meant more as an entre if anything than an app. Regardless, no complaints with the dishes. We were happy with what we got. Of course we ordered a large pizza for dinner. The restaurant offers many traditional toppings, along with their signature pizza, deep dish options, calzones, etc. We ordered our large simply with garlic, onions, and sausage. Since we were enjoying our salads, it didn’t feel long before the pizza arrived. The large is definitely a large! The pizza itself is more of a thin crust, which I was happy about as that is what I prefer. It had the right amount of sauce and cheese. It felt like there was extra onions, but no complaints there! It was a delicious pizza. We were quite happy with the way it turned out. We couldn’t finish the entire thing so we took it home with us. I’m from out of town. But whenever I’m back in Anna Maria Island, and I’m tired of the typical seafood options, Oma is a nice change of pace with an authentic feel to Italian family type of place.

$22.00 for a large pizza! Must be some great pizza? WRONG!!!! Ordered the deluxe Oma special. Nothing about this pizza is right! The whole pizza was not cooked enough. The peppers and mushrooms were definitely from a can, the pepperoni and sausage were tasteless. Sauce was nonexistent and not nearly enough cheese. The toppings were all in the middle of the pie, leaving the whole outer portion of the pizza toppingless. Fortunately we did not have the rude waitress. Our waiter was friendly, but vanished for long periods of time. Never was offered a refill on water as I sat there with an empty glass for 20 minutes. Prices are absolutely insane! A Draft beer is $5.00, A sandwich is $10.00, Dinners are $14.00 to $19.00, most on the higher end. Calzone is 12 bucks without any toppings!! As I walked in I noticed a sign that said. 75 cents for crushed pepper or parmesean cheese. How can Oma charge this ridiculous amount for food, then charge this much for something that EVERY pizza place gives you for free?? No employees had masks on ever!!
