We were looking for a pizza shop that makes Gluten Free pizza. I called first and asked and they said yes! They have a great gf pizza! Its a 12” round personal size. I was hopeful to have a good pizza and we went in for dinner. Im gluten free for 11 yrs and the struggle for gf food while traveling is Real! We walked in and were welcomed with all smiles. The server told us to pick any seat we would like. The interior of the restaurant is what you would expect. A italian/pizza style restaurant. Approx 15 booth style tables. Our server was super friendly and very knowledgeable about the gluten free menu items including the salad dressings! My husband ordered a medium pizza 1/2 pepperoni 1/2 sausage. I ordered the gf pizza half pepperoni. I have to say… of all of the places Ive eaten across the USA….THE GLUTEN FREE PIZZA WAS AMAZINGGGGG! I literally could not stop saying that with every bite I took! Lol I was sooo Happy!! I seriously want to order a gf pizza and have it FedEx to me!!! Sounds crazy right?? I know!! But it was SOOOOO GOOOD!!! The crust was just like a real non-gf pizza crust. It wasn’t the cardboard crust like most gf pizza’s are. If you are gluten free YOU HAVE TO GO HERE!!! You too will be so HAPPY!!! My husbands regular medium pizza came out larger than expected. Cooked perfectly and the crust was lightly crisped with just enough chewy-ness to make it an excellent pizza as well! Being from the NJ/NY area we’ve had our share of pizza! Oma’s Pizza and Italian Restaurant is by far a total WINNER!!! If you need gf or regular gluten-full…Please go here. You wont be disappointed! 😁❤️⭐️

Excellent place for delicious pizzas! Honestly, this restaurant was more Italian than Italy itself. And I mean this as a compliment! It’s a bit small, so it can fill up fairly quick. We were greeted immediately by the lady behind the counter. Lisa was our server and was extremely friendly. For starters, we had the house salad and a single antipasto salad. My antipasto was great, but a bit generous for a single serving. I suppose it’s meant more as an entre if anything than an app. Regardless, no complaints with the dishes. We were happy with what we got. Of course we ordered a large pizza for dinner. The restaurant offers many traditional toppings, along with their signature pizza, deep dish options, calzones, etc. We ordered our large simply with garlic, onions, and sausage. Since we were enjoying our salads, it didn’t feel long before the pizza arrived. The large is definitely a large! The pizza itself is more of a thin crust, which I was happy about as that is what I prefer. It had the right amount of sauce and cheese. It felt like there was extra onions, but no complaints there! It was a delicious pizza. We were quite happy with the way it turned out. We couldn’t finish the entire thing so we took it home with us. I’m from out of town. But whenever I’m back in Anna Maria Island, and I’m tired of the typical seafood options, Oma is a nice change of pace with an authentic feel to Italian family type of place.

$22.00 for a large pizza! Must be some great pizza? WRONG!!!! Ordered the deluxe Oma special. Nothing about this pizza is right! The whole pizza was not cooked enough. The peppers and mushrooms were definitely from a can, the pepperoni and sausage were tasteless. Sauce was nonexistent and not nearly enough cheese. The toppings were all in the middle of the pie, leaving the whole outer portion of the pizza toppingless. Fortunately we did not have the rude waitress. Our waiter was friendly, but vanished for long periods of time. Never was offered a refill on water as I sat there with an empty glass for 20 minutes. Prices are absolutely insane! A Draft beer is $5.00, A sandwich is $10.00, Dinners are $14.00 to $19.00, most on the higher end. Calzone is 12 bucks without any toppings!! As I walked in I noticed a sign that said. 75 cents for crushed pepper or parmesean cheese. How can Oma charge this ridiculous amount for food, then charge this much for something that EVERY pizza place gives you for free?? No employees had masks on ever!!

Ordered delivery and one of the pizzas had the crust horribly burned. When we called the lady at the store, she asked us to bring it back because they needed to see it. When we explained it was delivered, she said "Don't you have a car?". Her rudeness continued and when she asked if we ate it, we said we tried a piece but couldn't finish it due to the burned crust. She said a driver would come to get it. After another hour we called the store and the lady said no one was coming because she said we told her we ate it. Absolutely disgusted at this point, we drove the pizza back to the store and even after opening the box in front of this rude individual, she had to show it to an owner, who promptly said it should have never been served in the first place and to give us our money back. Whatever proud business this has been through the years, it has been tarnished with some new people who shouldn't be running things. You look at the photos and decide for yourselves if you want to be insulted over something that looks like this.

This is a great local restaurant down to Mid-town in Anna Maria Island. We ordered pizza( newyork style) , alfredo fettuccine, and salads. The cheese on pasta was fresh. The pizza was decent. The best of all was Minestrone soup. The veggies, beans, and pasta in the soup were delicious. Would definitely visit when we are in town next.
