I loved this place before even moving to Tampa. I love their boba. It's perfect. I also love their beef dumplings! #obsessed It's a fairly easy place to get into located in small strip of other businesses. I have gone on weekdays and weekends and there is always parking available. It's also never overwhelmingly busy inside either. I personally think it's because more people do not know about this gorgeous gem.
They have a 2 sofas arranged in a shape of an "L" with a coffee table in the center. They also have storage space/shelves filled with reading material, board games, and cute merchandise for purchase. This includes stuffed caricatures, jewelry, and even stationary items. Because the sofas are arranged the way they are, it leaves room for individuals who use wheelchairs or have strollers.
Aside form the sofa, there are about 3 tables the come one after the other after. They have places a long sofa along the wall that serves as seating for one side of the tables while there are loose chairs on the opposing side. It gives opportunity to rearrange in case larger groups come in. I like that.
The service is always kind and prompt. Your food/drinks always look like something out of Pinterest. The aesthetic is soft and light. From a beautiful grass backdrop to ceiling décor, this place is the perfect place for friends to catch up, study, or simply vibe.
They do offer carry out as well. I recommend Annie's Tea House for anyone visiting Tampa or currently...
Read moreI hate to drop stars but after many 5 + visits and trying to deal with the new owner personally i felt it justified. I really loved the original Annie. She was always so sweet personable and listened. If anyone knows where she went, please update their review . This has now been sold to a new ,much younger , and inexperienced owner. So far I have brought my mother there, brought several food items for my whole family, including my toddler and all of which could not be finished. The variety of steak chicken noodles and vegetables were all too salty and heavy garlic , the zucchini tasted spoiled and not refrigerated. Vegetable portions have been reduced , not cooked long enough still very hard to chew with more of the carbs . with how the economy is going I've been cooking five days a week and being in the restaurant business, I know a thing or two about seasonings And food quality . I asked her politely twice in person if the recipe has changed ( it obviously has ) She got defensive and said nothing has changed. I said it's too salty for everyone to eat that even a two year old won't eat the noodles. I asked if they could put less salt or light even since everything is made to order . and she said no, nothing can be altered or modified . I was shocked for an $18 dish spending close to $80 for four people I think is a bit overpriced for the quality service and portion . Sadly will have a find another quick go to cafe when in the...
Read moreAnnie Tea House deserves 10 stars! I've been going to ATH since it first opened. Everything has been amazing. The food, desserts, snacks, and drinks can't be beat. This is my absolute favorite spot in Brandon because it has it all. Rarely do you find a place that has great boba drinks and great Vietnamese food all rolled into one. The flan dessert is a must try. You get your choice of toppings on the flan. My personal favorite toppings are the taro and matcha green tea boba. They also serve a bubble waffle with ice cream. I'm also in love with their matcha brown sugar boba tea, avocado smoothie, taro coconut smoothie, and now their new mangonada. I must also mention another favorite and specialty drink is their Annie Cooling Tea which comes with a bunch of different toppings. It's a thirst quencher for sure.
Their food is also to die for. I can now say that I've had almost every item like the salmon, noodle bowl, grilled tofu, wings, calamari, shrimp noodles, and others. Again, all of it is made fresh to order and amazing. Do not miss this place if you happen to be in Brandon. It's family run and local. Annie, her family, and staff provide excellent service. It's a favorite for a good reason.
It's in the same plaza as Anthony's Coal Fire Pizza on Brandon Blvd. Today is their 1 year...
