I'm sorry, but no. I cannot eat here ever again.
First, I placed a to-go order, and was not given an entire entree. Okay, my fault for not checking. I didn't feel like going back, so I called the store. They took my information, and told me how to claim store credit on my next visit.
The following week is when it started getting comical. First, I had to explain to the server, and then the manager, about my store credit. Well, I didn't feel like the chicken and shrimp Parmesan on that day, so I kept having to explain that my credit was for that, but instead, I would like a pasta today. It would still leave me some credit, so if we could do a french onion soup, that would be great. Finally, everyone seemed to understand. I ordered a mojito shaker. It was a new experiment for me.
Well, then they tried to bring me a chicken and shrimp. No. Sorry. Not mine. My wife got to start on her food without me. The french onion soup was great, but more on that later.
Well, they finally get my pasta to me. I don't remember what was wrong with it; maybe it was cold. Let's just say "food quality."
About this time, we get a new server. The first one had some family emergency. Ok, fine, but this pasta isn't working, so I need you to take it back, please.
Somewhere in this, someone starts apologizing for my bad experience. Okay, let's do this. Bring me another french onion soup to make up for having to send the pasta back, and we'll be good. And I would like a strawberry patron margarita (my usual).
Well, then our original server shows back up. Family emergency averted or something. I think she's fed up with dealing with us (as if I've not been trying to be as gracious as I could), because she just walks by and points to the mojito shaker. "I put in another one of those for you." And walks off before I realized what she was saying. Sure enough, I ended up with a second drink I didn't want.
Finally, the bill comes. They "had" to charge me for one of the french onion soups. And of course the shaker. Doing the math, I lost a couple dollars paying for stuff I didn't ask for versus what I should have been given as credit. All I could do at that point was take it out of the tip. Between the two servers that couldn't coordinate properly, I'm not sure which one got the 10 percent.
A solid 2. We should have...
Read moreWonderful server, my server Anthony was beyond joyful and extremely helpful in my decision upon getting the 6oz sirloin. I wanted it between medium rare and medium. First time it came out, the steak was just gristle. Sent it back and Anthony happily brought me back another one, asked me to cut into it and this steak was not even rare, it was still alive. Below rare. The manager, Brittany came over and was super super sweet and offered me a new steak, and also promised that the cook would be talked too and she would figure out what happened. I decided to pay for my sides and leave the steak as is. Great job front of house, best service I’ve had in a long long time. Back of house, time to step up your game, you got mighty competition with this strong front of house staff.
By the way, only issue I experienced with front of house was the lady who dropped off our food, I believe her name was Charlie after speaking with the other staff members. She was very rude when dropping off our food, and auctioned off the food. Didn’t ask us if everything looked right, basically threw the plates at us, and then ran away. I later learned she was also a front of house manager. She was in basically a T-shirt and jeans, very unprofessional. Take some lessons from your fellow manager Brittany, and step your game up.
Props to Brittany and Anthony for being the only reason I’ll return to...
Read moreVisited w/ my husband on 7/10/2020 and we were barely "greeted" by a very rude waitress. She kept walking away while we were asking her questions about what we wanted to order. We only went for happy hour after work but were going to order food also. She told us that they didn't have those specials anymore b/c of Covid. Then walked away again. She did bring us our flavored lemonade & tea (which were not mixed very well) and the 3rd time she zoomed by we asked for the check so we could leave. She was suddenly no longer in a hurry and became concerned about our needs. "What's wrong, you didn't find anything you wanted?" I told her we came for the drink specials but since they no longer offered any we were just going to leave. She smiled & brought us to-go cups & our check. I called back after we left and was informed that the Happy Hour specials were indeed being offered. Our server just refused to honor them for us. We will not be returning to this location again. I don't have to pay for poor service in a place that makes me feel like they don't want me there. FYI - I left her a $3.00 tip for a $6.00 bill in spite of her...
