Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Brandon

Severely disappointed with our pizza from here. It tasted nothing like Pizza Hut pizzas I’ve had all my life.

The biggest issue was that it wasn’t cooked long enough. The crust tasted slightly like raw dough and wasn’t crispy on the bottom at all. We went back thru and the manager said if we want crust that’s cooked longer and is crispy then we need to order the thin crust pizza. Uh…no! I’ve always ordered the pan pizza. This was the 1st time it’s ever been undercooked. She was rude and refused to acknowledge that the pizzas need to be cooked longer.

The taste itself was bad off compared to normal Pizza Hut pizzas. Nothing tasted fresh. There was no yeasty flavor to the crust. The sauce and cheese didn’t really have flavor at all. It actually tasted similar to a frozen pizza from the grocery store. Either the pizza or its ingredients had been frozen or else ingredients just weren’t fresh like they should be.

Disappointed with the Night Shift Experience

I strongly advise against visiting this location, especially during the night shift. I attempted to call several times beforehand with no answer. When I arrived to place an in-store order, I found the employees sitting in the lobby, eating and chatting as if their shift had already ended.

Eventually, one came to the counter while the others casually walked back to the kitchen. As I began placing my order, the only response I got was, “We ain’t got it.” That kind of attitude and lack of professionalism is unacceptable, especially from a national brand like Pizza Hut.

This was a frustrating and disappointing experience. I won’t be returning and if you’re looking for decent service, you’re better off going...

The customer service rep acted like she was at home, high on drugs or something! She kept just holding the phone. I kept having to say hello?? Did you hear me?? She would say no, so I kept having to repeat myself. Her cell phone kept ringing in the background.
