I gave the service a 3 star rating but not bc of our servers. We had 2 young ladies that were very helpful, very kind and very great servers.
The purpose for my rating on the service, has absolutely NOTHING to do with our servers or the food, AT ALL bc those things were great.
Our issue was with the bartender. We attended on Wednesday evening and my BF and I ordered a few cocktails.
I ordered a shot of Jack Daniels and he ordered a captain and coke.
These are the exact same drinks we both have been drinking for 30 plus years.
Unfortunately, we're no spring chickens lol
The first round was perfect and then on the 2nd round, When my BF received his Captain and Coke... Immediately, he said that the drink he was given, was not Captain but rather Jack Daniels. He was friendly by telling the awesome waitresses, that he was sorry but he was assuming that perhaps the bartender may have mistakenly poured the jack in both drinks and kindly asked to have it remade. No harm no foul. It happens.
The friendly waitresses go to the bartender and inform her, who basically tells them that she's positive that is Captain and to let us know, that it's definitely Captain and he can drink it or not. If we chose not, they would remove it from our bill but basically, she wasn't remaking it. He can like it or not is the options he was given.
As I mentioned earlier, he's been drinking that drink for 30 years and I know with 100 percent certainly, that he knows the difference between Jack and Captain.
I personally found that approach to a resolution extremely rude and unsatisfactory.
It wasn't like he was rude or acting in anyway demanding nor was he saying it as if she were completely wrong for the mistake.
She just instantly got snooty about it and was talking to another guest at the bar and acting kind of idgaf about how she wasn't remaking it.
I hope the managers have a chance to read this and guide her in the direction of better behavior.

First of all Tessa the manager came over upon my request so I can give her a compliment on the meal that we had and the service that we received from Cory our waitress, and Tessa was so freakin great and informative and receptive to our needs which was only to rave about the food and service! I had the Habanero burger that was so big, juicy, tasty and full of spice and flavor and made just the way I ordered it which was medium rare! Hats off to the chef that freaking nailed it! My wife and I also ordered onion rings as an appetizer and boy I was not disappointed when it came to its size and how well it was breaded and more importantly how flavorful it was! We also ordered some loaded fries that was to die for and it was plentiful to the point that we had to take some home with us! My wife had the Grilled Chicken salad that she states was so moist so instead of taking her word for it I asked her can I try it and she was definitely on point with her assessment! Lol! Our overall experience with this Bubba's location in Brandon Florida what's fantabulous! Once again, our server Cory, I think thats her name was great with her suggestive sale! Read moreInitially, we enjoyed going to this restaurant. Our first time it had great food and service. We recommended to go with some friends on 12/13/24, and boy what a terrible mess. We waited over an hour to be seated; we had a party of 10- understandable. Then the waiter got bumped or something and the tray of 7 drinks (he placed some down) was poured onto my 4 year old daughter. Her white underclothing was brown! And ok, we are human, but not one person came to apologize or discuss. The waiter said he was sorry but not one other individual or leadership came over. They gave us a shirt to put over her clothes because not only was she completely wet, but it was a cold night out. Her jacket was soaked, all she could do was cry. Quite disappointed! Moving on, my personal order was incorrect when delivered to me. They then placed the correct order, but after waiting 45 min for food and the drink situation, I lost my appetite. At this point I wanted to get my daughter home and bathed. The only response to the wrong food was “burgers on us”; well I’d be pissed otherwise because it was not what I ordered. We left with no efforts to accommodate either issue whether via the tab, gesture or any communication. Needless to say, I don’t know when we will ever return, if we ever will.
